What people wanted was to level new jobs while enjoying the story again. Cause that is what people enjoy. That the devs were this blind to it is shocking to me.
It’s not pointless to those who want to redo the story on their main character. Each character can have a different experience when it comes to the MSQ. I explained in another post about how my alts handle response different compared to my main; the MSQ experience is different for each character I own because I’ve designed them purposely to be different. There is a certain novelty to being able to redo the story on my main that can’t be reproduced by just rerolling a new character. And, considering how alt-unfriendly this game is, a lot of players don’t want to have to roll an alt just to enjoy the story again, anyways.

It’s a pointless feature for YOU just because it isn’t going to vomit experience and Gil at YOU. You should clarify that your argument really only applies to you here, because you have others in this thread proving to you that it isn’t so pointless after all to them.

Maybe some would, but i can guarantee that most wouldn't. The point of mmo's is to progress your character. If you don't understand that i dunno what to tell you. Your view is that much tilted.
There are myriads of ways to “progress your character” in the game already. Not everything has to be designed to throw Gil and experience at people, and people have been asking for this kind of feature for years—without the caveat of “make it give me EXP and money”.. Adding experience and rewards to this just makes it a prime target for bots—both RMT and those who want to do scripted leveling.

I do find it ironic that you’re calling my opinion tilted. I could say the same about yours.
