This would be an extreme case of ghosting and I'm sorry that happened to you, as you were trying for so long. I've been ghosted by someone who doesn't like ghosting. How is that for irony? It hurt's like hell regardless of the situation, but all you can do is move on from it. There will be others, there will always be others.

It’s weird tho. I proposed to them, and they said yes. They soon disappeared and went silent. Now a month later, their discord name changed, they unfriended me, won’t take an invite (that’s a hint, not an answer), but yet their toon exists, and still shares a house with me. I can move on if that’s what they truly want, but at the very least I want to know why they left, or felt the need to hurt me.
