It's happening at the Tokyo Gameshow, which is primarily for Japanese audiences. That's the reason why Koji isn't there with them translating each thing they say.
That said I am surprised there isn't a re-stream in with someone translating in English, I get it's late but that would have been a fair compromise.

Glad to see this on the first page. Because this. It's not Vegas fanfest nor E3. I don't know why people keep expecting any different unless they just learned what a Live Letter was yesterday. Though if the cancer of twitch chat is any indication, no one reads and needs someone to physically shake them and tell them what the LL will be about. It's happening at the Tokyo Gameshow, which is primarily for Japanese audiences. Ironic for someone with Nier in their sig. Yoko Taro is a gift and I watched explicitly for him. Every minute with him on stage is worth more than gold.
Yoshida: "Does this look like FFXIV at all anymore?"
Yoko Taro: "It's not too late to turn back Yoshida-san."
[....]
Yoko Taro: "So do you want to talk about Saito-san's divorce again?"
...Because they are Japanese? And its at Tokyo Gameshow?
Man, is America this self important that it can't wait till after the Live Show to get it Translated afterwards?
I don't really see what the location has to do with addressing your subscribers... If the majority of them don't speak Japanese...
Actually I'm in Europe, but that's another thing... the official translations usually takes days, sometimes even weeks. Why are they not already prepared ready to be posted?
Easy, they are in Japan, at a Japanese event, and they are Native Japanese Speakers. Simple No?
So while they do the Live event in their Native Tongue, everyone Non-Japanese will get a Translation afterwards. Nobody gets left out.
Fair Enough, your European.
Same Difference, just wait like the rest of us Non-Japanese Speakers. If you tried following anything, the next patch wont release till Late Next Month, so there will be PLENTY of time to read up on whats coming once its Translated.
I'm getting so tired of this attitude. It shows that people like you have strong dislike for Americans. Playing this game must hurt your soul. How do you live with yourself? Yes sir I am triggered, because I am American, and I am certainly not self important. In fact I am told I care too much about you...humans..
Also not everyone here is American. YES the majority of people posting here are on the US servers, but that doesn't mean they are from or living in America.

I dont hate America, thats just silly, and no I actually love this game Ive been paying to play it nearly 4 years and counting.... I hope to pay to Play it till its conclusion if things go right with life, Finances, and the Dev team.
So most of what you said is way over the top. lmao
But my main point remains, they are Japanese, they will release a translation later.
