I'm not super stoked for it but I don't entirely dislike the ranged winner. Some of the runners-up would probably have been more interesting but maybe it will at least provide some nice pieces to incorporate into other glamour... assuming the asymmetry doesn't go too overboard. I have been wanting this kind of hat with goggles for MCH forever so yay for that.
However, if it had been up to me, I would have chosen this one or this one instead. I find them more fun to look at and I imagine their individual pieces would have had great glamour utility as well.

The melee set... I mean, I'm fine with the MGS suit on its own but... It hurts my heart to see all the runners-up that somehow lost to it. I'm a big fan of magitek aesthetics and I always want more high-tech gear, but even so I feel like the winner is a very low-hanging fruit of a design. Look at what's been passed up... This one is so so pretty! And this one too! And... okay this one is a bit out there for a melee DPS, but I'd love to have it regardless, it's so cute >.<
Compared to them, the sci-fi ninja catsuit just looks like the hundreds of the same outfit I remember from SWTOR. Just so unbearably... plain >o<

An honourable mention goes to this design, which I feel would look perfect as an Allagan-style DNC set! <3

Something I noticed with a lot of these runners up, a lot are designed with catgirls/fem lizards and not a different body type so to speak.Maybe it would have been in their favor to have a male roe and lala to show how it works across the board.

Shame about the delinquent set though.

Well, we have Allagan gear, so...that's pretty futuristic/robotic. And you know, Alexander. And Ironworks. And the Garleans. And a flying car from another world. But Metal Gear Solid-esque items totally don't have a place in FF. Nope, not at all.

Hate to tell you but that armor you just brought up is very ugly gear and was most time had glamour put over it. Fly car from ffxv. Metal Gear is made by Konami not Square Enix. I like the looks of all other designs below it way better. Maybe next they can add Marvel and DC universe outfits.

Anyway, I don't care for most of those designs, to be honest; however, the fact that the sneaking suit one was chosen over the others? Really now? It's dull as dirt, and I'm just going to glamour it to something better. The ranged dps winner is nice enough, except for the lack of pants on the female set... Oh, how I despise hot pants/short-shorts in general. It'd look so much nicer with leggings or actual pants. Whelp, glamour to the rescue!

You may think it's ugly, but others do not. It's all a matter of personal taste. Don't like it? Don't wear it. I'm also fully aware that Konami and Square Enix are 2 different companies making 2 different games, but thanks for the information. Do I like some of the other designs too? Absolutely. Well put. No idea what Hy's exaggerations are about.. you were being pretty reasonable. Their irrational response aside I certainly wouldn't turn down some Nightwing tights and better face masks, specifically domino ones. The melee set is as close as I'll probably get to this so I welcome it all the more. Plus hoping they can pull off the glow fx in the mask's eyes off properly, especially when in motion. Shouldn't be hard if they borrow the gimmick from Warriors.
