    Eureka wasn't so bad, but endgame in ffxiv is lacking without eureka

    Every time you would level in Eureka, Every time you would get a weapon in Eureka and Every time you would get into a party all had a sense of value thanks to Eureka suffering. It was the first content that actually tried to deliver an open-world feel to the players that wished for it, however, the execution wasn't great. There is legit pretty much NOTHING to do in this game that is MEANT for capped levels. Looking back at stormblood, when I was lv 70, all I did was savage and eureka because it was the only content that serves actual endgame for capped level for long-term. I know people are gonna say "Oh, you can do craft, level(class), tribe, etc, etc" but those can be done before even reaching endgame and hell even before finishing msq! Eureka was one of the solutions to fix all of that and I wish the Devs would create more contents that serve for capped levels and I wish the Devs would make Eureka BIGGER than it is(Bigger as in more exploration). At this point, I only log in to raid now and I know i am saying way too early in the expansion, but im hoping that it doesn't repeat this pattern. Also, YES, its great that you can do so many things in this game too, but these arent "truly" endgame.

    tldr: why cant SE just make more contents for capped level only? at least i will feel like i achieved something for getting this far.

    Relic is coming. I still have lots to do leveling my roles and getting alts through story. I'm not ready for a relic chase. Not quite sure when they have it planned but I doubt you'll see it in 5.1. And I enjoyed Eureka btw. I hope we get more Ballison Arsenal type content this xpac.

    Considering how Eureka's ending through BA was a big cliffhanger, it's pretty safe to say the content is going to be open if they want to revisit it.

    However also noting the team's focus on bringing back Diadem that will also be a big endgame piece, hopefully allowing more for endgame gathering/crafting outlets and more exploration for DoW/M.

    I can’t wait for this expansions iteration of Eureka. I hope they take the existing systems eureka gave us and expand on them and create more varied battle content. Baldession Arsenal, while not everyone’s cup of tea was great. Do more stuff like this.

    I know people have been brainwashed to believe raiding is the only endgame. It simply is not true. Every player decides what end game means to them.

    I liked Eureka. Just wished crystal farming wasn't such a grind. That's something that puts people off content like Eureka.
    I posted a suggestion in the levequest part of the gameplay forum about adding Leves to Eureka esq content that rewards crystals and such.

    Maybe add more helpful items like a crystal cluster which lets you respawn without loosing exp. Elemental shield crystals that apply a temporary damage resistance buff.

    Add a unique exploration pack where we can keep items and potions relevent to the content so they don't clog up our inventory.

    Reduce the mobs needed to spawn fates depending on how many people are in the instance, etc.

    Never actually did finish diadem or BA do people still run them?

    I can see that or just drastically reducing the rate of exp you lose. It's paying homage to XI so I don't see that element going away but reducing the loss would allow people more motivation to stay in while also giving it the same element of suspense.

    A different bag for storing items would be nice. Especially with the amount of tails/mushrooms/waters you get from lockboxes to make potions for the exp boosts.

    The mobs should scale with the amount of people in the instances, so that should sort itself out pending on when it snapshots how many people are in.

    As for the last two people do run them on Discord. I don't know how frequent Diadem is but BA is still run on Aether and Primal even now. It's slowed down considerably since the launch of SHB but it's a thing. Crystal I'm not too sure on because even when I was running it back then it was mainly frag runs to get the gear.

    I actually liked Eureka in the end and spent a lot of time at the tail end of Stormblood in there. But it a massive problem and that has to do with hive mentality of the western playerbase: all is fine and dandy if this is actual content but as soon as new content comes out the old content dies. This is problematic as the SB relic is locked behind Eureka. And I can't actually imagine any kind of changes which would make this soloable.
