I'm wondering if they're going to take HW approach with the augmented artifact armor/relic weapon this time or not.
Eureka was a mixed bag for me but I mostly enjoyed it.

Or do something amazing actually get rid of fates entirely...
That was the single biggest complaint when eureka launched... oh look yet another fate grind.... despite being promised it wouldn't be..
That's simply not true either, MMOs or gaming communities tend to follow the term "endgame" as in to reach the last level or peak of your game. So by following that logic, savages, and ultimates ARE the only endgame contents currently as I am making this post. You don't simply say "Oh, I got to level 50!! Im gonna decide its endgame for me now!" because that not what the gaming/mmos community believe.

Its the downside of drip-feeding expansion content, and the reason why Frontloading content is always a better option.
People are basically in a holding pattern for 5.1 to add a SIGNIFICANT amount of content: New crafting stuff, most likely diadem v4, possibly the start of ShB relics, info on personal farming, info on ShB housing, new Alliance raid, new Trial, info on NG+ and I'm sure i forgot something else that hasnt already been pushed back to 5.3 (Blue Mage level 70?), at least some of which probably could and should have been in 5.0 or early in the 5.0x series of patches.
'Endgame' content is content that both advances your character and can only be done at level cap.I know people have been brainwashed to believe raiding is the only endgame. It simply is not true. Every player decides what end game means to them.
Or, right now, raids and faffing about for tomestones.
Eureka was okay. It certainly showed us that 14 is not in any way designed to be played with significant uptime, especially level synced, though. Fate trains relieved the "I have to press a button every gcd for hours or chains will drop" wrist strain, thats for sure.Eureka was a mixed bag for me but I mostly enjoyed it.

The problem with dropping all content at once is the Deadline for the Devs to have finished everything before they drop it.
Either they cut corners to save time but the content ends up feeling short and sloppy. Or they have to extend the release time which results in backlash from players who complain they have nothing to do.
Some People burn through the content and want more. Claiming there isn't enough.
There's more bugs and exploits the Devs have to sort through which will take longer to fix.
I think Eureka content is scraping the bottom of the barrel of possibilities when it comes to ideas for endgame content. It has some cool ideas, but spending 90% of your time slaughtering the same trash mobs for an hour (either to spawn NMs / get light / get lockboxes), or hopping from NM to NM attacking an HP sponge with 100 other people is not my idea of fun.
I also really liked Eureka!
And don’t worry, Relic content will be back! It’s just too soon for it.
It isn't true that I decide what end game means to me? You need to think about what you just typed. That's simply not true either, MMOs or gaming communities tend to follow the term "endgame" as in to reach the last level or peak of your game. this could be alleviated by upping the difficulty a bit..
wouldn't even have to be huge.. but part of the reason content never lasts very long is because you can pretty much smash through and clear everything a patch has within a few hours of it going live....
thats why people have nothing to do and are bored.. because everything they had to do was obliterated the moment it launched
i for one loved Eureka
yeah Pagos was pretty rough but the time i spent in all 4 places i have such good memories
and BA was amazing outside of the awkward entry
it also wasn't just good for the relic it was also a decent place to make money or even cap out your weekly tomes and all the extra little things from the chest and rabbits are nice
i also cant wait for them to put the shiver emote in a easier place to get
i too hope for more eureka like relic content instead of what HW and ARR did
