Or this could tie into her usage of time magic.
From the information given to us from Unei and Doga themselves during the Crystal Tower raid, it's impossible for the person from the Eden raid to be their child, or a descendant of theirs via blood. The simple reason is that they tell you that they are clones, and clones can not have children.

My own personal theory is that it's the Minfilia of the 13th shard and that is why she's called the "Oracle of Darkness" by Thancred and Urianger when we meet her.

I call her "Darkfilia" for that very reason. It's half tongue-in-cheek but half not.

To expand on this, a few times I've seen the 13th described as 'nearly barren' rather than completely so. A certain elf made it clear that she was not the only hero who failed to protect the 13th from nearly being annihilated by the forces of Darkness. There were other heroes, others who were as nothing against the forces of darkness marshaled against them, but others who tried nevertheless to stem the tide of inevitable darkness that washed over the land.

It's a theory, but my current running theory (and one that I'm using for a home D&D game so let's hope it holds water!) is that the 'Oracle of Darkness' and her forebears were indeed the functional equivalent to Minfilia and Ryne on the 13th, those who had an elemental affinity and possibly connection to the power of Zodiark, and whose powers gave them the ability to control and sense dark-aspected aether just as Minfilia/Ryne can for light-aspected aether. When the scales tipped too strongly towards Darkness, she was created as a failsafe, a way to ensure that the world could fight back against a flood, and while the shard did mostly fall to darkness, it didn't completely fall. There are still scraps of land that exist, first of all, where we are able to fight and breathe when we visit the World of Darkness.

My current theory is that the Oracle of Darkness was able to create a small, stable pocket in the realms of darkness, where a small community of people were able to survive and stay safe despite the state of the 13th shard. It is there where she has been reincarnated for thousands of years, continuing to hold steady a small pocket of of order in a vast sea of absolute chaos. Obviously, this is just wild conjecture, but given the control that an awakening Ryne is able to exert over Eden, a fully-aware Oracle of Darkness may be capable of such feats.

Guess we'll know in a few months
