Entered alliance roulette yesterday as BLM, got LOTA. Right at the beginning there's a guy who says hi to me. I can't say I've had the pleasure, so I tell them hello but I don't think we've met anywhere. He says something along the lines of "you mi frend" "mi bad english". I'm in A and during Atomos, Thanatos and the adds around the bomb it's clear my alliance isn't really pulling their weight. Someone from another alliance says that people in my alliance are AFK. Now there's two or three of these "hallo froendz, nike to meat yous" people from my party going on in alliance chat. I notice that 4-5 people in my party have last names like "XI, I'll, I'l etc". Then it ends, I walk away with 4 commendations for whatever reason and check that my whole alliance was from the same server except me. Dunno if that was their idea of trolling but it was kinda amusing (except the afk part, please don't do that).

This really gets my goat - Got yet another PLD who Clems the second their HP reaches 70% (and no, it wasn't for Divine Veil). Dude, I'm an AST, you'll get a heal if you wait 2 goddamn seconds. Sorry SE didn't give me fifty oGCDs like the other healers, you're gonna have to learn to deal. Then of course I nearly had a wipe in Qitana because the very same burger king crown pally decided that Clem is only for when your HP is full, not for when you're dying.

I'm on the verge of turning into that macro'd-full-paragraph-of-rules healer I think someone posted a few ways back.

Weirdest run of Halatali (normal) ever.

So now that I've got DRG to 80, and I'm waiting for allowances so I can get miner up to 80 (my last gatherer), I've picked up rogue/ninja.

So, level 25, still rogue no job stone, queue pops, load in. Everyone takes off like a shot and I follow behind.

Tank pulls every mob into the first boss and then aggroes boss. And we do it, no thanks to my non-AOE skills at that point. There's some stuff in chat that I absolutely do not understand being said during the boss fight, something about a full room pull next (oh boy) and kiting the boss?

Well, I get to see that in action. We use the fire teleporter and the tank is off again. Pulls everything while my co-DPS samurai and the scholar healer pulls all the levers. Tank and healer both die during this but samurai keeps going, grabs boss, and starts running it, and a huge tail of mobs, around the boss room.

At this point I'm just like ;_; guys what. What is going on. PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN.

Tank and healer get back up and get transported to the boss room and uh. I guess while that boss is being kited? He doesn't go into the middle of the room, go invincible, and spawn sprites. So we just kill him in one go as the samurai is dashing around the room. Then we make a mad dash to the teleporter with mobs shrieking on our heels, in true Praetorium style.

The three Rudis Beaks are pulled into the last bosses chamber, and that goes off without a hitch, and I get all three commendations, but I am so scared and so confused right now.

I always cringe a little when I see a PLD using "Requiescat" right after they pop "Fight or Flight" or vice versa. Please, for the love of the Twelve, stop using them together... :/

its an honest mistake because a lot of people think paladin has an all damage up but it only applies to their physical damage. Holy Spirit is magical nonaspected, which only requiscat boosts, and fight or flight is legitimately for your dot/ 76 skill spamming to improve the damage. (and my god does it feel like paladin still attacks rediculously slow)

That stupid (not awkward, STUPID) moment when your tank is screaming for a ranged lb but failed to notice (or even care, let's be honest) that the ARC was new and enjoying their cutscene. All the global cool downs in Eorzea couldn't fix the stupid that tank had in that instance.

You haven't lived until you've seen a PLD burn through his mana bar with Holy Spirit spam, AND THEN pop Requiescat.

Recently, I was a fill on a Shinryu run. One of the healers was something special, to put it mildly. Always on DPS or group heals. Not a single res to be had from them until I brought it up later in the fight. The RDM rezzed and I rezzed (as SMN), but to my knowledge, that particular WHM only rezzed once, and that was me after calling them out for not rezzing.
