I don't think so, considering the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. The conversation here definitely has a cycle. Doesn't seem like anyone brings anything new to the table, not that I am. I just pop in from time to time. It's amusing.

Pretty much what i do i blew my conversation load long ago, only thing that gets me really involved is stuff not appropriate to discussion. I still support, I have my own ideal male Viera but i'd rather just have them even as another Roedgyn body type than not at all, same with female Hrothgar i'd rather have them even if they are another waifu race than not at all.

My hatred for gender lock races > My love to have my ideal male Viera/female Hrothgar

That's why I've mostly taken a seat back and only been commenting on pretty fanart The discussion ends up being very cyclical and the same points are repeated over and over (though thankfully, it's been a while since someone got here saying "I don't support and hope you don't get it because someone called the devs sexist and homophobic x months ago!"). There's been no news and, frankly, I don't expect any for...damn, the next 3 FanFests.

Personally: Viera feel half-done not just because of the missing males, but also on the hairstyle and hat fronts (which are different discussions). Hroths have the "hairs tied to faces" issue. But so far I'm content with my Viera: I like her emotes, I can work with the hair and the available headgear, and I'm loving DNC (Do I think it's in need of a buff? yes, again, another discussion entirely), Savage's been fun to learn, I'm looking forward to new content like Ishgardian Restoration and, in the meantime, Re:Legend just started Early Access so gonna play that when I need an FF break
