The min il for leveling dungeons is most likely so people can continue the story without being roadblocked. I'm sure it's on more of a good graces idea that those actually queuing in for them are geared up enough, but as we learn from stories in this thread that can not be the case.

As I level additional jobs every few levels I head to the vendors in town and buy up to my level and just sell the old stuff for pennies...

But I have 4 80s and have been here since 2013. I can buy 100k of vendor hear and have it back by the end of the night... and I know where to find it. Green leafs often don’t.

I wanted to argue that they should be keeping gear up and they can... but I wonder how well does the game do in telling them this?

In most MMOs you can go from 1 to max without ever buying gear, even as a dungeon spammer. Here it’s not as viable and you should buy gear and the vendors are actually cheap.

But does the game communicate this well?

Leveling - only when you die to mobs (even then people continue thinking they are fine in 200+ ilv lower gear than acceptable for their level)
Lv Caps - yes min ilvs are a thing at 50/60/70/80 for every instance group content except map instances something many of us would wish leveling dungeons/trials had so the above scenario cannot happen.

So, I'm a healer main. I have trouble when DPS combos get past the 1-2-3 with an occasional DoT dropped on through an alt combo. But still, I want to see the lore and story and I'm only leveling through FATEs and dungeons and I'm making sure to stay appropriately geared.

With that in mind, and with me still grinding on my DRG, I get Great Gubal (Hard). I like this one, though it's been a while since I've been through so some of the mechanics are iffy. The first two bosses go no problem. Strix, I completely forget what to stand in for the most part, so whoops. But still, that's okay.

At 50% or so, the healer and the other DPS are down.

The tank and I continue hard. Tank is a paladin, so the self-sustain they have is pretty great. Tank goes down while Strix is at 10%. I have little left. Potions on CD. Second Wind, Bloodbath, Life Surge. CD.

I LB. He still has 1% left and he's about to tornado my ass and I know if I run to the proper circle, I'll die. I'll die anyway but I feel I can just squeak by, just make it, maybe, possibly...!

I jump. Spineshatter. Dragonfire in shrieking succession. I can only hope at this point as the tank tells us it was a good try.

He dies and I stand, triumphant.

Accidentally attacked the wrong end on Levi as a range DPS, since it's been so long and got myself killed. >:
I was like what!? I don't have any debuffs!
The WHM purposely didn't bother healing me, or say anything and let me die until after I am dead to say it, looked at my body
and didn't both to res. I was the only Range there.
Hey if it weren't for me, we'd all be dead since I was the only one that remembered to get the machine to deploy! -_-;

Not a big deal because it's a really short trial and all but I'm like really? Lol...Thank you SCH who bothered resing me though!

Was in Orbonne on my WAR. Agrias took the MT into her hole. So I grabbed her and started tanking. She put me in a cage and no one freed me. Someone ran to a safe spot right in front of me and did nothing. She went to someone else, not the other tank. And THunder Slash cleaved the almost the entire remaining alliance. One my healers saw what was happening and noped out of the group, raised me. I grabbed her until the MT came back. I want to brag on my party. During the adds in TG, we killed ours while the other two parties had over 40% left on theirs.

I'm starting to feel special over the amount of times the tank dies and I end up tanking on DNC and still tanking even while the tank is trying desperately to get aggro back. I guess weakness really destroys the initially insane aggro generation tanks have.

It...Really doesn't... So I have to assume the tank was doing something silly? I mean, I literally take hate back on one attack after death.

I don't know to be honest. Sometimes I feel like some of them just don't like dancers. There's another upside though, it exposes the other DPS lol.

I was doing Malikah's Well right now leveling my RDM and i got a WAR on there, the WAR had Lv60 Poetic Equips ( not upgraded ), Weapon, Head, Chest, Pants and Boots. His Waist was Lv58 ( NPC White Color ), a Ring and Earring Lv60 HQ. The another Ring, Bracelet and Necklace was empty.

Said that i wonder, WHAT THE HELL SOMEONE LIKE THAT COULD EVEN REGISTER AT LV77/LV79 Dungeon?, HIS CHARACTER GOT LV80 AT THE END AND THAT GUY DIDN'T HAD ANYTHING BETTER TO USE?.

But that's not the worst, my RDM HP was higher than his, he was losing the aggro everytime and saying: STOP DPS TO ME HANDLE THIS. The bosses was killing him by Tank Busters and what he was saying?: HEALER DO YOUR JOB AND KEEP HEALING.

I tried to vote kick but i got denied. I have no words at all, that's a absurd.

Did you...At least explain why you were trying to vote kick? Not everyone visibly notices someone having gear THAT bad, odd as it is.
