Hi, my name is Reninha and I recently reported a player for abusing the vote kick system.
This isn't a thread to hate on you, but to talk about what you said to me.
It really SHOCKED me when you said:

Dude.

Did you really say that? Instead of saying something like "Don't worry, I'll look into it." you gave me a suggestion for LEAVING the DUNGEON and getting a 30 MINUTES + PENALTY...? It's NOT my fault for getting trash talked, you should say that TO THE GUY WHO TRASH TALKED ME.

That's NOT something you should say to a new or old player. I just got trash talked and you ask me, instead of doing anything first, to just leave the dungeon and just get a penalty? Do you understand how frustrated players (just like I am right now) would be if you said this kind of stuff to them?
AND you didn't even let me give you a response. You said that and LEFT....

From the screenshot it looks like you didn’t reply at all? Unless I missed something there.

I don’t know both sides of the story, but in any argument it’s actually good advise to just walk away from it. So I dunno, I gotta side with the GM here on the general sense. Maybe just more tactfully worded for those still steaming.

I know you weren’t looking for other players input here, but sometimes an outsider opinion can be helpful.

Hi, thank you for the response. I did reply, but I changed that current chat to a whisper/party chat only - my responses didn't show up for some reason (and I still don't know how to fix it).

I do know that's a good advise to just walk away (or black list and ignore it), I understand his side too - he didn't want me to get a 4 hour ban because of someone else.

But the way he worded the "I believe that it would be better to disengage from these players or leave the duty for a penalty" just got me frustrated. I feel like it should be changed, saying that kind of stuff after someone get harassed for 10 minutes straight (by a mentor that is) is just... Sad.
I do understand it's just a game... But meh, maybe I'm just overreacting.

Anyway, like I said, I didn't mean in any way to hate on the GM, I just wanted him to see my side too, it was really frustrating to receive a response like that. I actually don't even know if he'll read this, but oh well. Who knows.
