Sonic Team, NCsoft is worse, but everything PWE is worst of all. I guess BGS is right up there given their history with game breaking bugs they don't bother to fix.
Can't think of any off the top of my head, no.

I can't believe some of the responses here... Why does "Oh it's your fault" always seem to be the go to reply? As others have pointed out you can still bypass security tokens. In the responses I also didn't see any mention of the account holder not using one either. Their chest wasn't open for just anyone either, only select individuals could gain access to the gil funds. Someone hacked the user's account, invited and promoted a dummy account, cleared out the gil, then left. I doubt there was a lack of security, an inside job as some like to point out, or carelessness here. Sad truth of today is, no matter how secure you think you are people have a way to hack in and steal your info if they want it. Look at all the latest security breaches for an idea there.
Hmm... if gil is stolen from an FC by a hacker, a hacker who is likely to sell that gil. Then would it not be in Squenix own interest to deal with it? That is if they actually care about gil sellers and stopping them.
I guess you've never had to deal with Nexon support and their tendency to not only be completely inept at dealing with hackers, but often banning innocent accounts and having zero rollbacks at all.
SE is not the worst. And frankly, FC chests being 100% the player's responsibility is the best way forward for them for many reasons - not the least of which is a way it can be defrauded as pointed out earlier.
Unless you're incoherently screeching like a banshee I don't believe this.SE Support is pretty awful, even the process of getting support is miserable. Most of the time they don't even respond to people, which is an issue I have personally experienced with them but also a lot of my friends coming back to the game who all had various issues also either never got a response, or got one many days later that didn't provide much help at all.

If they get robbed and had the door unlocked or the key under the front mat, well....
Its FREE. They incentivize it with a 100% free teleport in game. Its in your face in that the password entry box is always there. Short of forcing players to use it (which would lead to complaints of "wahh, over-protection" I'm sure, would go a long way to reducing the amount of "hacked" accounts.
free?
What one of these two things is free
the $20 token
or the monthly cost of a cell phone with a data plan?
Square can claim it's free, when they pay for my cell phone, thank you very much. Data isn't cheep everywhere.
Look, support has admitted there was a hacking, they rolled back one character. They didn't roll back the results of the actions of that character, so the dummy acount that was let in, BY THE HACKER, was able to get away.
Support has no interst in fixing this.
Just take this as a lesson learned, "Support is useless" and "never trust anything in the game".

Umm... The app doesn't use any data afaik. And theres this thing called Wi-Fi. You have to have access to the internet to play the game. so... Yeah...free?

Also, claiming that the app isnt free because you have to buy a phone.... Like.. Do you claim the game was expensive because you had to buy a ps4/pc? Was your drivers license expensive because you had to buy a car? Your logic is nonsense
Also, the token is $14.99, and that includes the shipping.

While I disagree with the "support is useless" notion I'm genuinely curious about the reason why they couldn't restore the actions. Is it just data backed up periodically they can restore? Are they only authorized to do rollbacks of characters? A Free Company after all isn't something they can't probably do a restore on and outright restoring gil to a Free Company bank is maybe beyond their abilities. If they OP reads this, what did they precisely say about their reasoning behind refusing to do it?
