The Twinning, rehash mobs? But all the mobs are custom, new design taken from FFXIII? We don't have any of them in XIV yet.
The fact that half the time nobody gets that Churro is messing with you kills me...
Anyway, on topic, I was cleaning out my quest list and noticed I still hadn't finished Lux on my anima. So, I turned on the tv and sat back for 3 30+ minute queues to do the warring triad which was all I had left. What was funny was that everytime it popped and we zoned in there were randos cheering. What? You didn't want your morning roulette of Titan Hard mode? I was glad I could bring joy to a few.
Of course not. One minor mistake is never a good reason but I also find it to never be the only reason. In all my years of playing this game with newbies I can only count on one hand where someone is toxic enough to go after a person for one mistake that led to a wipe. However, you should always point out that you are new and you are going blind if you don't use a guide. Which to be frank, most msq or low end content does not need a guide and I am fully for people learning by experiencing the mechanics first hand bc I feel that will make them a better player and help many, not all, remember said mechanic. However, if you choose to go in blind and people are not willing to give you help that is a possible outcome to YOUR choice.
Should they then bitch you out bc of a wipe after remaining silent, I don't think so. But ppl are a holes and this can also be a result of a personal choice you made. You sadly cannot force randoms to be accommodating. But anyone who insists you had better no know mechs on first run are just... ugh.

Leveling a job from 1 - 76 is fine, but taking an extra 15 minutes to make sure it has its abilities is too much? Was in a dungeon (Qitana Ravel to be precise) with me (ast) friend (dnc) a gnb tank and brd. The dots kept falling off we noticed and so my dnc buddy mentioned they could use iron jaws...
In case you are not aware of the bard toolkit, what he would be missing at that level since he had not done his quests would be:
The Wanderer's Minuet
Empyreal Arrow
Iron Jaws
The Warden's Paean
Sidewinder
Refulgent Arrow
Basically, his entire damage toolkit to make him viable.
...He was level 76..This was a 76 bard and he was missing all of the above because he did not do quests cause it was too time consuming.
*sigh*

Wait... wait... can you explain that logic? They don't want to take the time to type out a one-sentence explanation of some boss mechanic (most dungeon bosses don't have more than one mechanic that hurts too badly) but their alternative to that is to tell someone to go watch what's probably a 20-30 minute video dungeon walkthrough?

Some of you guys might view Rescue as the big bad boogeyman but seriously if I rescue you into the green goo in Mhach, I probably did it for a reason. I even TOLD YOU GUYS to step into it after add phase. If you want to walk out and die that's on you.
Though it does make for a convincing "stop standing with other parties" on Ozma if you won't listen. Not the best boss to mingle with other parties in. Though I won't blame the tank for it because some dps decided to smack ozma the exact second we even started landing on the platform (and had first timers).
Directions. They're hard.
to be fair MTQ capture vids are like 4 minutes, but yeah.Wait... wait... can you explain that logic?
