I've been tempted to say something similar when it's me, on my max height female Raen, and a party full of Lala. I usually want to say "Okay class, stick with your buddy for this field trip"It's not worth arguing with Sturm, they are pretty much trolling 24/7 as I have yet to read anything that isn't condescending. We are talking about the same one who gets a chuckle about kicking newbies for having minimum gear of a new dungeon then screaming "git gud!"
As for the dungeon as I won't be responding to their retort...
Not really a bad thing but more of a funny thing, got Akadaemia Anyder in my Expert and was the only Lalafell with 3 Male Roes. Was a quick run and did find it hilarious how the Paladin said "Protect the child at all costs!"

Had a party of three Lalas while tanking expert roulette. Declared, "Come, my children, it's murderin' time!" and ran for it.
And at the end, we all had a big group hug while I told them how proud I was.

I more thought this was funny then anything else, but I got two Lakshmi Normals in a row for my trial roulette. The first one went wrong for all sorts of reasons; people not knowing how to Vril, stacking markers when they shouldn't, so on and so forth, but it's really the second one that I found funny.
Fight starts off well enough, we get past the first time you need to use Vril, then things just go down hill pretty quickly. The knock back takes out one of the white mages, the other drops a rez on him then gets the stack marker and does NOT run it into the melee, proceeds to get destroyed. The other WHM is finally up, but then the other Lakshmi AoE's are out, the lines and stuff. They fire off, the second WHM drops. Both healers are dead at this point. Luckily I went to this on my SMN instead of my MCH, so I pop some rez's off. Later, I get the stack marker, but all the melee get Lakshmi mechanics and run out. Healers, again, did not bother to stack and neither did the tanks, so I just blew up right there. Get raised, and we limp through the fight more. Later, we get to the same combo of mechanics, where it's the line AoE's and the stack markers. I'm with the tanks without either marker, I look behind me, and there are the two healers, NOT running into melee range where everyone else is, stacking on each other like it's going to help. Again, they just explode and die. Yes, I had to rez both healers because both of them were dead at the same time twice. I cast rez I think 6 times that whole fight. We surprisingly didn't actually wipe because I was a SMN who knew how to cast Resurrection. I walked out of there with 3 comms, though I felt like I really should've gotten at least 5 for being the reason we didn't wipe, heh.

That's a little mean. I literally never kick anybody and have said as much several times - if anything I'm the one who gets kicked. In that one duty finder tale I posted awhile back that healer left, nor do I ever say "git gud". I have chat logs. Plus, I wouldn't be so dumb to post something like that in the chat in the first place - I don't even curse in game. In fact I am extremely nice to new players, and very patient. Rather than kick a player I'll just leave, and I barely even do that either. I'm hurt.

What a nice community! I determine what game genre I want to play. Besides getting kicked is better than leaving, I can avoid the timer!
I'd also, like to be enlightened one what mentality makes MMO's incompatible? I swooped in to take the attention off of them, and onto me. They are harmless, venting for fun. People need to really step back for a moment, I think.

FULL STOP pretty much right there if you please. Sturm has the right of it on that part at the least. I come here for stories not to reopen old salt wounds that shouldn't have needed opening in the first place.

YES, the shit eating grin when you watch someone dying to mechs over n over that are sarcastic lol. DF story eh... How bout healing a tank in doma castle thats wearing Hellfire gear and pulling large mobs. That was awful. OGCD's couldnt pop fast enough for that guy. Think the run was an extra 15 minutes, squishy tank being squished makes healer job harder. So I just tried E3N for the first time.
Some mechanics sounded like they might invite a bit of chaos but overall it looked simpyl enough. Standard markers and reacting to them with a couple of "environmental awareness" things.
Told the party I'm a first timer but that I know the theory from a guide. Just to make sure I asked wether we try to more or less split evenly during the platform split, escpecially the healers because... you know... heal range or if everyone just runs to whichever side they want. Answer was something like "lol this isn't savage". Okay, guess that's a no? Could've just said something like "you can try but it's not neccessary". After all, I was just trying to make sure I don't wipe the party with something.
The funny part is where said person spent more time on the floor than anything else because they messed up quite a few mechanics. Getting blasted of the platform, falling down when the platform crumbles, eating avoidable damage and dying from a it ("soar across the platform" thingy among other things).
It was overall pretty chaotic and we wiped two times but I was having a field day watching said person fail to death.
I ressed them, no worries, but with a shit-eating grin.
Got chewed out by a healer in expert roulette today because I wasn't taking enough damage. No, this is not a troll post - and no, these weren't small pulls. These were your standard issue wall to wall pulls. A healer was legitimately peeved about the damage I wasn't taking. They spent half the run complaining about how Dark Knight needs to be nerfed. I decided to take it as a compliment.
This wasn't a particular run, but this has happened to me at least twice. Why is it whenever I get a WHM for Qitana Ravel (I'm leveling my WAR, currently Level 76), my HP is always either at half or below during trash mobs? And when the WHM finally notices my HP is close to the danger zone, then they either Tetra or Bene me, only for me to get smacked upside the head by the mob. Bosses aren't so bad, but it feels like the WHM just wants to DPS and Holy or Glare the ever living daylights of the mob. I'm not even pulling big in Qitana, unless I get told I can pull big, the WHM just doesn't like healing, and only heals me enough to keep me alive.
I never complained, because it isn't worth it, but dear Zodiark, AST and SCH's healed me more.
