Running expert roullete as tank today,
Theres one first timer and his friend both are dps, i pull one or 2 pack at a time before the first timer friend ask me to slow down... like not my pulling but my walk... he and the first time keep chatting "amazing!" "Beautiful" "oh is this that" or whatever they are enjoying the dungeon, im willing to wait... but not the healer, the healer keep pulling enemy from ahead... WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO!?

I know how the healer feel since this first timer and his friend amaze comment on every little things and stop moving it actually put me on stress too, but... i want them to enjoy the game...

To all first timer or newbie out there please try to respect other people time, its fine if you cant do mechanics its fine if you die its your first time there BUT please dont stop moving fo amaze the dungeon for every 2 min or so... i suggest you go with your friend only if you want to do that

Okay, let me break this up with a dungeon story

Duty Finder stories will never get old. It's kind of a staple of this game to have terrible duty finder experiences.

Between Raw Intuition/Nascent Flash's short cooldown timer, Rampart, Vengeance, Arm's Length, and Thrill of Battle, a Warrior can mitigate incoming damage for a total of 70 seconds. Shake It Off, if timed well, can also cover a few seconds of incoming damage. And though Holmgang requires cooperation with a healer to make good use of it, it's nothing to be sneezed at. A Warrior player who spaces out their cooldowns well and takes advantage of the massive self healing afforded by Nascent Flash+Chaotic Cyclone shouldn't have too much trouble staying alive.

Thanks, that's good to know. I looked up the skills and I definitely don't remember seeing Arm's Length during pull or Thrill of Battle and Skake it off. The latter would've been great on some bosses because both RDM and I stood close enough to also get it. But even if it's just for himself, 12%+ shield helps. Also his HP didn't went up aside from my heals, so I guess he didn't use Equilibrium either.
All in all he apparently only used Rampart (timed poorly) and Vengeance. I've seen Raw Intuition but only rarely and definitely not Nascent Flash. Green is a rare color for a buff so I would've spotted it right away.
Warrior never really appealed to me and much has changed since that short time I touched it, so I wasn't up to date one bit when it cames to mitigation. But after reading this and looking up some skills it seems his CD usage and timing was abyssmal.

I don't need it. I'm pulling BIG in content like Qitana Ravel, and Malikah's Well. Would be better spent on that other dps who is trying to compete.

I'd just make the healer my partner. If he turns it off, raid doesn't need it, I'm a one au ra army.

When people can't tell this is satire. Pack up boys, we know we've hit the bottom of the barrel because we all know someone out there actually does this and isn't joking.

Or rather, I hope... Don't do this to me Churro, I wouldn't be able to take it.

I get you. Everyone else is way too HOSTILE, in my opinion. I click off AST buffs, cause I don:t need them. I:m that good. The other DPS needs them to even KEEP up with ME. The fact that you can:t click it off, is FORCING a playstyle on you in all HONESTY. I:d probably report this as a problem to the devs - MAYBE even report the players who USE it, but I:d make a ticket and see if it is ACTUALLY reportable first.

I have a second-hand DF story. So I qued for Alliance and got LotA. Again. About half-way in I get an emote from a fellow FC mate. We apparently got the same duty. Theres an alarming amount of wiping going on (as usual). But nothing too bad. In FC chat he tells me that his party mates got mad enough that they didnt free him from the iron claws during the last boss (he was SCH). Apparently they were all very VERY new. As in...didn't know how to check what Alliance they were. They took offense to his snark (he...didn't react well) citing this (a lvl 50 raid) was Hard Content and he should not be so critical. :\ I mean yeah. Probably would have been better to show a little patience but man...talk about babes in the woods.

I am currently leveling my Dragoon. Last time I touched it was somewhere in Stormblood to level him up. But it's ok, I have right side Accessoires from Ghimlyt and bought the 390 Gear for Poetics.
I am by no means a very good or skilled Melee, but man, those mobs are dying rather slowly. Look at my Gear again, all as I remembered.
Reconfigured my skills - all good now, I guess, I am use them at least decent.
All the way up to 73 and still no real damage. I get the feeling, even the tanks and healers are doing more damage than me.
I was about to ditch dragoon, although I like the movement and skills.
Rechecked my gear, check the weapon... oh...the weapon! Must have totally forgotten all about that one. Still 290.
I felt and still feel so dumb about it now . And I am really sorry that no one said a thing in the dungeons I did.
