I guess I don't pay much attention to it. Nor do I really care. It is a video game, they are not going to see much other than pixel under garments.

Yeah, so tell me how you feel attacked as a Lalafell, when you get hugged?Different people have different boundaries. How can I explain this?
Some people, myself included, feel a strong connection to our characters. They are part of our inner story, the one that we tell inside our heads.
And, some of those people, also like me, cannot get a lot of social interactions outside of online games. The people we meet in game can become friends who mean a lot to us, even if we never meet them.
The reverse is also true. If another player acts discourteously to a character, it can feel like an attack upon the person who plays that character.
For me, I can laugh it off, even get a sense of joy, from an ingame hug or a pat on the head. It's all part of the banter between people.
But other people feel uncomfortable with the unasked for interactions. It's an intrusion into their inner story. Respect their boundaries and move on to someone who enjoys the interactions.
I just wanna know because to my knowledge, you potatos get punted, thrown like footballs and sent as sacrifices.
Would you rather get harmless head pats and hugs? Or literally harassed for being a race some folks look down upon? (More jokes!)
Pick the poison lol.
Guess we could take a page from Second Life and have the indicator that shows where characters cameras are really focused. Honestly to me they are just a character and nothing more, but perhaps that is because I am male while playing as female.
As a potato, I'm used to staring at everyone and everythings crotch when I dont scroll out enough.
Ive seen a lot of underwear, and I dont give a single crap about seeing it.
Headpats = /joy motionHey now, some of us like the hugs and headpats
Yes I find it creepy but i've never noticed it happening to me. Then again i'm a Roe who rarely wears skirts.
I have done it to a static member to prove a point though lol
its just pixels man why would anyone care?
The golden rule: treat others how you want to treated.
unfortunately, some people would enjoy having it done so they do it. D:
How about respect people regardless of what they chose? Would you run up and hug or pat a stranger in the real world on the head? Would you run up and harass or kick a stranger for looking different in the real world? And don't run out and go its pixels so it shouldnt matter. it matters because theres other people on the other side of the screen the golden rule of treat others the way you want to be treated doesnt end just because you're sitting in front of a computer and if you need reminded of that then maybe you should take a minute and reflect on your own behavior and choices rather than other peoples reactions to it?Yeah, so tell me how you feel attacked as a Lalafell, when you get hugged?
