Fem kitties get a lot of attention, but they're also the most popular female race played by men--so there's that.

I like to imagine that if a guy thinks you're a guy (playing a female cat) that they won't flirt with you. I think a player's name can go a long way too. I mean, I have Warcraft as my last name, and you're named after the MP3 player I had in highschool. People like us who are audacious to name our characters after such ridiculous things probably don't get treated like submissive women looking for unwanted attention.

I forgot I'm named Sony LTD lol. Funny enough I've been using the name Sony for so long people in REAL LIFE call me that. It's not even odd anymore. It's like a normal name now other then the company lol. It's funny when I yell at the company and don't stick up for it is when people find funny.

I personally find Male Au'ra unappealing to me and look the worst. :/
I'd like to see more Elezen though. I've come to like the Giraffe necks lol.

No way. The most attractive would be Viera, Au Ra, THEN miqo'te. Not even talking about "Hot". Males it would be... hmm.. actually I don't really like how the males look in this game, they all look scuffed. By the way, since female au ra are so small, male au ra are packing small.

I can probably rate males on a "cool" scale. I'd say highlanders in certain full armor, covering their caveman head. Certain Hrothgar. Midlanders in full armor, covering their babyface head. Some elezen males have good designs, but the stupid ear armor ruins any kind of helmet. Roe has really tiny legs and they look like blobs, I don't think those ever look cool. Top 3 for me would be like Hyur, Au Ra - Hrothgar. I probably like more au ra looks than hrothgar though.

Oh, cat boys... I think they almost always look dumb. I don't think they are attractive or cute or cool. Some people have pulled off a look I like, but it's really rare.

My name is Sturm Churro, and on my females in SWTOR those were named Lalalachurro and stuff and I still got whispered. It's probably cause their character looks cute, wearing the carbuncle slippers and stuff.

Humorous enough, but it reminded me of why I try to do my AFKing in the privacy of my own house or my FC's mansion.

It's not. No joke, I met my ex-gf because she whispered me complimenting how my character looked. Theres the tactful way of doing it and the creeper alert way.

I've had people make suggestive comments towards my character out of the blue and one extremely hilarious case of this person's friend wanting to do something suggestive to my character. I obviously dont need to explain how the latter 2 scenarios are creepy beyond belief.


It depends on what is being said and how. Some people have tact and experience socializing, others....not so much.

I play as a fem roe as max height. Almost half of the races can walk between my character's legs counting on their height settings. I have had lalas brave enough to hide in my character's dresses. I am sure someone took a photo or two at some point.

Wait until you learn that there's NSFW mods for most of your favorite outfit, and you'll discover that they're not taking panty shots. There might not even be panties on their screen at all!

I've learned to avoid certain outfits in the game just because I've seen what other folks have done to them. This isn't to shame the creative community. They do them, but I just want to know what I wear looks like what I want it to be on everyone's screen. So a lot of times I'll wear Scion adventurer's jacket and dress pants.

Hate to break it to you but both have been modded; the scion jacket is particularly popular because it's a level 1 item.

I just remembered, and I'm sure it's been brought up- uh, have you seen the race gear for Hyur and Miqo'te? There's no upskirt to be had, all they do is so much as extend a leg and you see all the crotch and Hank Hill butts.

I think it can be said that the people of XIV are proud of their bodies and thus, flaunt it.

I remember having a stern debate with one of my FC mates, because he liked to use an emote that was basically 'steals your panties and runs away with them." He was just a young kid in his teens, and was being playfully cute based off the behaviors he saw on anime. He had no idea as a guy what it meant to be objectified or even be on the receiving end of such behavior. He just thought it was something cute that people did in anime, and thus was acceptable behavior in-game. He and I never saw eye to eye on the topic, but I strongly suggested he cut it out, as it's the kind of behavior that can get you suspended from the game. Being as a custom emote is easily reportable and this specific one violated the ToS, because it could be seen as sexual harassment.

How socially stunted do you *does one have to be to think it's okay to make and use a panty stealing emote? Like, that's not even a sex thing (that is, it's not that he can't understand due to being a male), that's a matter of maturity or rather the astounding lack thereof. That's middle school behavior, seriously, and probably exacerbated by him watching apparently ecchi anime.
