Do you think taking up-skirt shots of peoples characters is creepy?

I shied away from using skirts on my glams after realizing I was giving people an easy upskirt view on most of my favored mounts.

Now it's shorts all the way.

Hmm I wonder if sending a tell saying - I like their character design- is creepy :c Cause I send alot of those of characters that I think their characters look kool/cute. I don't send anything other then THAT tho. I don't get many tells myself, I have gotten a few that were like - Really?- But most of the time people just pat me on the head. Like EVERYONE does the pat emote on me. I guess cause miqo.

The last complement I got was from someone that said I looked awesome, like a Game of Thrones character with my DRK glam.


I didn't look at all like a GoT character, but I got the sentiment and thanked them.


Personally I only start getting suspicious when they start sending me tells when I immediately login. I try to let them know or use the blacklist first, though.


I see people foolish enough to hit on virtual avatars and mean it as more a sign of immaturity than anything else.

Is a Viera alt really all it takes to get that much attention from boys in this game? :v Like, if I make an alt and act cutesy, will they give me free stuff in exchange for upskirt pics? I had no idea straight guys were that easy.

Only one time I had to deal with some nevrosed folk. As a relpy, I said that I neither had time or will to lecture him. It was enough to make him to shut up.

And about the "pat", it happens, most of time "shock", "panic" and "laugh" emotes are enough to calm down the little game.

The creepiest thing is they are almost always lalafells XD

Wait until you learn that there's NSFW mods for most of your favorite outfit, and you'll discover that they're not taking panty shots. There might not even be panties on their screen at all!

I've learned to avoid certain outfits in the game just because I've seen what other folks have done to them. This isn't to shame the creative community. They do them, but I just want to know what I wear looks like what I want it to be on everyone's screen. So a lot of times I'll wear Scion adventurer's jacket and dress pants.

meh, I'm not concerned. I get tells frequently enough of people hitting on my bun, I cant even tell when I'm getting a supposed panty shot anymore because I'm so meh about it. Knock yourself out buddy, im afk anyway

In the real world, there is a legal test called expectation of privacy. It basically means there's no reasonable expectation of privacy in a certain area, general public areas mainly. Not sure how that would translate to the world of Hydaelyn.

Definitely creepy. I really hate the skirts in this game so much that I refuse to wear them; either they're way too long or they're way too short. It gets bad when the WoL takes a knee in a cutscene or if they're on a mount and all of their goodies are on full display for all of Eorzea to see like really? I don't want to see all that. I imagine this sad nonsense is limited to the starting cities which is probably why I've never noticed this before as I know full well what goes on at these places and generally tend to avoid. The most I normally get is a tell telling me that they like my outfit and I thank them and then that's generally it, well, most of the time anyway. Sometimes I get genuine nice people but every now and then I get those tells that just goes straight into creep territory but like I generally just ignore and don't entertain those. Had one guy even follow me out of town (mount and all) and send creepy tells my way while I was trying to gather; could not blacklist that guy and teleport any faster!
