German skill translations can be outright strange (I guess they tried to keep the same names as in the old FF games, like Fire, Firera, Firega, etc), but that one always bugs me out, esp when playing with friends who have set the client language to German.

Re. language selection - as an English-speaking player on a Japanese server, there is no practical choice but to tick the box indicating I speak Japanese for the sake of duty finder matching. It makes a massive difference to the queue times, and 99% of the time it doesn't matter in normal content, because nobody communicates beyond hello and goodbye anyway.

Adding on to this, if you are running around kiting, you are at risk of missing out on the boss killing the adds due to being out of position. If the adds are somehow killing you in seconds, what is your gear like and what is your healer doing?Uhh....actually the mechanic is to kite the adds around the room, as collectively they hit hard, and will kill you in mere seconds. If you kite them, only a few will succeed in hitting you, making things alot easier for the healer. When the arrow disappears, then you'll stop to let the adds catch up, and get killed off by boss AoE. THAT is the mechanic.
Nothing major from me, but I had a tank in E3 who for some reason would NOT move for Tidal Wave. Maybe he decided letting me Rescue him was a better option? Either way was getting annoying.
There seems to be a bit of an influx in Scholars that refuse to heal anyone. WHM and AST don’t seem to have this issue. Is it because of over reliance on the faeries or is it just a bad batch I’ve run across?

lvl 50/60/70 roulette, queued as healer, got a first timer tank in Skalla. First alarm bell, his hp were less than mine and the dps. First pull, healt drops like crazy. Inspected him, the was a mix of 68 and 67 gear. In SKALLA, he did not even bother to get his AF gear apparently. I bailed right out, I refuse to carry people who can't even bother to get their class quests done. And for the love of god Yoshi, give us minimum item lvl restrictions...

Skalla does have a minimum item level: it's i300.lvl 50/60/70 roulette, queued as healer, got a first timer tank in Skalla. First alarm bell, his hp were less than mine and the dps. which can be bypassed by equipping just one or 2 tome gear, with poetics change it's the 360 ones. It doesn't make a difference if the rest of your gear is so low that you are a paper tank, and that tank did not even have the 290 AF set. I think belt and an accessory were the ones that made him pass ilvl. Whatever, fix restrictions so that they cannot be bypassed so easily, my point still stands. /end rant

Never said that it couldn't be cheesed? Was just pointing out that you're asking for minimum item level on a dungeon that already had one. Got an inprog Sastasha where I'm guessing the war pulled too much for the lv 23 cnj and the ninja to do. Went through the whole dungeon with a dead at the start war tanking on my dnc. The war did ask for a kick but they never got one.
