I would like to have at least 4 ring slots because some of the gloves have multiple rings on them by default and also offhand weapon for every class which won't drop at the same time.

I would agree with this, or at least increase the ring space. My "inventory full" error when swapping jobs is almost always cus of the rings.
Which is the main reason why people are asking for the 2nd ring slot to be removed. Just double the power of a single ring or roll the stats into the belt so it's more important (since it IS left side), while increasing the materia capacity for whichever way you do it. There, we still keep all the stats and materia slots, and can basically save ourselves from this armory chest ring storage nightmare.

Aye, that's what I do
I do wish the ring section had twice as many armoury spaces though, since we have to wear two of them. My ring armoury section is almost always full.
Remove 2nd ring and put in adornment slot. And adornment can be just any random items like it was in Lightning returns... Much more fun, they can have all sorts of fun with a slot like this.

How about we just remove gear all together save for glam, and just have an ilvl gem. How about that?

Remove one ring and make the belt more important. Also give the belt the materia slot that ring would normally have. Done.
I wouldn't mind an increase in price for belts (basically the same as headgear) if it meant belts actually being important instead of glorified accesories with defensive stats.

Taking the Soul Crystal Armory Slots and make it another set of slots for rings is a great idea. SE should just create a separate inventory box like they have for Bait.
If they remove the belts, I vote the empty slot be moved up and turned into a 'face' slot exclusive for glamour. Far fetched, I know, but hey, one can dream.
