Only person in the wrong right now is you, dude. There's zero reason to make up a DF story. This isn't Reddit, so no "internet karma" to attempt to farm here.

Nope sorry, your story sounds fake as hell. MCH totally didn't do anything wrong at all.To everyone trying to tell me I'm wrong: nope. I don't care. The story sounds fake as hell and that person was being a douche.
Anyways. Got Thousand Yawns of Toto-Rak last night. Things started off fine but then the MCH for some reason ran off and pulled an entire room. I'm surprised it didn't end in a wipe tbh. Not sure what that MCH was thinking but they started behaving themselves afterwards. They did have have an antagonistic name so I guess they were living up to it.

I'll be honest...I've ressed people repeatedly on that fight not because I expect them to contribute, but because I'm making bets on what will kill them next. :PHey, don’t feel bad. The same thing happened to me. It’s easy to get caught in a pattern of dying on that fight if you don’t fully understand it. Watching guides didn’t help me when I died 5 times on my first attempt before they stopped raising me. I died 3 times my second attempt before everything finally clicked for me.
I never wanted to go back there again, but did so out of necessity and I actually enjoy that fight now. I’ll actually queue for fun now even when I’ve already looted for the week because I might get a group that needs help.

I queued for Alliance Raid Roulette, hoping for a quick run before bed last night and well...rolled Orbonne Monastery. 75% of my party said heck to the no and abandoned the duty, and a good portion of the Alliance did as well. I understand the sentiment. That place stinks, but geez.

Had a great run of the twinning going playing on rdm. Get to the last boss and I decide to zone out of what's going on with the party. Healer dies and my stupid butt didn't notice until way too late and we wiped.
I've never been so embarrassed. The chat was filled with stuff like "rdm raise the healer" "RDM!?!"
I apologized but man I felt so bad. I just felt that with the run we were having that mistakes wouldn't happen, but they do sometimes..
Reminds me of my first time in Ghimlyt Dark. I watched a guide so I knew what was coming - in theory.
I warned my party that I fully expect to die during Commence Airstrike and true to my word, I got smashed into the floor during our first try. After reading countless stories about how it's a rite of passage (escpecially for healers) to die from Commence Airstrike during your first run, a tiny part of me hoped I would do better. A much larger part knew I'd fck up and wasn't disappointed.
Now I'm equally looking forward to and dreading Eden.

Had a somewhat frustrating run of Dusk Vigil this morning while leveling my BLM. I already dislike DV just because of that first boss' mechanic that yanks you out of the fight for like 30s without any means of dealing with it (I know you can ignore it with Manaward, as I've done it before, but that was on cooldown at the time thanks to a bad pull before the boss), but I also happened to end up with a stop-and-go tank that would grab a mob, spend 2-3 gcds to 'establish aggro' via single-target attacks, and then keep running, so I never knew if they were going to pull big or not, which is extra annoying for me on BLM. On top of that, either their gear was broken or our healer was really bad, because the tank somehow went down during a 'large' pull of only four mobs and I noticed their hp dropping very quickly throughout the dungeon. To cap it off, I got rescued into Whirling Gaol on the final boss by our healer, which admittedly was just a mistake as they were trying to drag the sprout MNK out of it (they apologized for it in chat) but was still annoying mostly because both of us were now affected by the tornado.
Not the worst run I've ever experienced, but still a little frustrating. The sprout MNK did pretty well considering it was their first time though, so they got a comm from me.
I fell asleep the other night during MSQ roulette. Woke up after it was over. Somehow no one kicked me, but I felt so bad.Had a great run of the twinning going playing on rdm. Get to the last boss and I decide to zone out of what's going on with the party. Healer dies and my stupid butt didn't notice until way too late and we wiped.

Even if people aren't wiping to mechanics that one takes waaay too long.... most of the time you have people dying to mechanics though. Even though the crystal tower raids are boring as heck, it isn't close to as long as Orbonne.I queued for Alliance Raid Roulette, hoping for a quick run before bed last night and well...rolled Orbonne Monastery. 75% of my party said heck to the no and abandoned the duty, and a good portion of the Alliance did as well. I understand the sentiment. That place stinks, but geez.
WHM | RDM | DNC

Had a DNC in Sohm Al that stayed as far from the rest of the group as physically possible, out of healing range. Used Peloton 3-4 times a pull, while we're all in combat. Didn't utilize her dance near enemies for that extra damage and stood in AoEs, like she was as invulnerable as the boss she's attacking.
And then she dies to the damage she's eating during the healthrough mechanic because she's nowhere near me for the AoE heals I'm putting out. I just quietly left her there, even after my swiftcast came back up.
