Really depends on what server you're playing on. As more people join the game some of those new folks might be toxic. Less likely to be toxic on a more casual server though. Don't wanna be known as that jerk nobody likes.

Can also be from stress honestly. Some folks can just get stressed out on wanting to get things done and that anger leaks into the game. Especially on new savage content or close to daily reset times.

The hardcore community has always had a fair amount of toxicity. It can be a real eyeopening experience pushing out of casual content where everyone is generally friendly.

In Warcraft the toxic behaviour tends to be fairly evenly distributed at all levels of play.

Nope. They are as much a mentor as any other mentor, they earned the right just like the rest. They might not stand up to an idealized version of a mentor, but they are.

As someone who pugs EX and Savage on a nearly daily basis, my personal experience is pretty much the exact opposite. I've encountered significantly MORE toxicity in casual content from casual players.

Large amount of toxicity from all corners. The casual community is definitely pretty bad as well.

And that still doesnt make sense.First of all its not like people are immediatly rushing to the forums after they get out of df to post their findings so when they posted on forums is completly irrelevant.They also arent posting timestamps of when said events took place.
There's also the fact that they are US players encountering issues on US servers.Its not like there's swathes of European players lurking around on the American servers just to harrass american players.
The issue is largely in the American player community and not the other regions.

Nope, I am an NA player, but I hear plenty of EU horror stories. It's a universal problem.

I also think blaming WOW players makes no sense.We've had WOW players in the ff14 community since 2.0 release.There's always been plenty of them.

WoW players are just the designated scapegoat, people should look in the mirror instead, in my opinion.

As people find statics and FCs they like, they will have less exposure to the toxic elements, but those elements are always out there.

Generally a guild or 'FC' in this game is actually where you will find a lot of genuine toxicity.

This is a blanket statement. this is not about feelings It about being a helpful,positive player in the community, and yes I do want to improve and be better but at the same time I do not need the BS, Feelings can get in the ways at times, but we are human and not robots so you need to take that into consideration as well.

75% of the Elitist/Toxic ppl in this game are Raiders who for some reason think just because they can follow a step by step instruction from a guide and clear "Hard content" with the help of 3rd Party Apps suddenly gives them the right to look down on the rest of the playerbase.

The remaining 25% are the Mentors, most who raid themselves, seems to offer more criticisms instead of actually providing good sound advice.

The Raider's think so highly of themselves, they blatantly sell Ex Trial/Savage wins for Paypal transfers on the Party finder everyday lol.

Uh... did you even read what you just linked? It literally says 20 posts per day at level 50, which was the max level at the time. That limit has not increased with each subsequent level cap. You have 20 posts per days regardless of being level 50, 60, 70 or 80.

You wont.The most you'll see on Zodiark is some fc infighting over silly things.And all the players who are confirming they see this happen all come from US servers.It's not really happening on EU servers.

Eh, I highly doubt it is some localized phenomenon that only applies to Americans. I'm hear to tell you I have met just as many rude folks from over yonder as I have here, both in RL and IG

I've noticed that in the JP datacentre I play at people are alot less likely to commend anymore, it used to be tank/healer will at least commend each other but its dropped from like a 90% commend rate to like 25%. Chance of getting commends from E players are abysmally low no matter how well you perform.
