And I rarely get fun talks with people unless I initiate them :/

If the PF listing you mention, you’re not pretending that your hard stance is about “teamwork”, you’re admitting that you don’t have the patience to help people learn, that’s why you’re specifying it.
You will be surprised by the number of players refusing to do X or Y mechanics in extreme or savage content using excuses that are variations of "you don't pay my sub". Sure, is not that super common but still happens.

Literally confused how you think bringing in a third party program and telling them their numbers is even helping them.

It's completely possible to help people without needing to use numbers, ACT or FFlogs. If you can't? That's on you, and shows a lack of actually understanding of the game if you think numbers are the only way to address issues.
So, if you're wiping on Titania DPS check, and no one's dying excessive times, how do you find out who's not pulling their weight?

Are you having 7 pulls and looking at every individual player's rotation like a hawk to figure out what they're doing wrong? It doesn't take someone being a literal ice mage to do awful DPS. Sometimes all it takes are a few mistakes here and there repeatedly.

Then you take ACT, find out who's doing it wrong and you can advise them (or kick them out, your choice). That is, if they decide you don't pay their sub and they keep playing the same way they were before.

For starters I try to make certain that the content is enjoyable and fun for everyone doing it while i'm in the same instance as them if we fail well just more room to try again and improve incrementally and to me there's nothing more enjoyable than seeing someone new to an isntance getting their clear achievement for it so 3 of your statements are right there proven false.

Apparently you're assuming (As if I should be surprised given your blanket statements in general) that I dont spend hours every single day trying to improve my performance and learn out every facet of whatever job/class I've chosen to play for that day or week or month or half year or year even. This again is false.

Are there people that dont try and put in a modicum of effort? Absolutely but they are nowhere near as widespread as you try to make them out to be.

As for telling someone they're bad it really all depends on how you present it to them. and THAT is the biggest bone of contention that you can't seem to process. Take for instance you're at work your boss comes in ranting at You that you're a peice of dren and need to stop frellin being suck at what you do. Does that make you want to improve or does that piss you off and throw you even farther off your game for the rest of the day. Now imagine that you've already had that kind of crap day you go home to relax start up your game and someone you don't even know jumps down your throat screaming "your a piece of dren and stop frellin being suck." You cant tell tone over the net but you can read and the human brain is already set to take any form of criticism in the most unforgiving tone possible in their head.

    See the point now?

So yeah I will say that you're fully in the wrong here every time.

People like me have had to work and scrape for every single thing we got including our sub fee we come in to have fun and relax and enjoy ourselves because in this world we're heroes and protectors and everything we wanted to be in the real world before reality kept beating us down. I know I try hard as hell and push myself on the daily to improve in the game but I'm not going to try and bring other people down while I'm visiting the games world I'm going to do my best to make sure that other players have as enjoyable an experience as they can after all we already have something in common we both play this game.

TLDR: Play together and have fun.

The culture between US and EU in general is just day and night difference.
    We value different things important.
Usually daily have fun conversations in party chat.Especially when i meet other fellow roes or beast bro's.
It's less of a social thing and more a language barrier that usualy results in runs being quiet or people playing on ps4 that cant type.

I think something snapped in 2018 honestly. You usually had the Burger King crown mentors, obnoxious people in /shout, and of course the ever vocal minority of the forums. But it seems like more of a constant now than just instances. The QA thread for Gamescom is embarrassing. Sure, ask Yoshi P a question, but it's like NA/EU just decided "Herp derp I wont be respectful because only I matter, let me just disregard the rules, etiquette and scream until something goes my way."

Because people are less likely to initiate them, because they're used to people not all speaking the same language...

You see, I know I need to improve, and I try to improve. A friend of mine politely told me my tank dps in titana ex was low and I should do some research on 80 PLD rotation as they couldn’t help me since they didn’t know PLD, and I did and I discovered that the oGCD DPS provided by the gap closer was more significant than I realized(it was a gap closer so I didn’t think I needed it unless I was well gap closing lol) so I made it a point to hit it whenever it was up and my friend told me I had improved when we did Innocence Ex the other week, I know I’m not perfect and I still have room for improvement.

But my point is, there is a way to encourage and build someone help, but just going “LOL you are a dead weight and a burden” is simply griefing and elitism. If that’s your way of addressing people that need to improve then you are part of the problem.

You know, when I see threads like this, I really wonder sometimes if I'm just really, really lucky...or if it's the poster.

I mean, sure, I've seen the occasional toxic person/group here (none outside of a certain FC I made the mistake of joining on Leviathan since ShB dropped)...but by and large the community has always seemed to be pretty pleasant and friendly.

Of course, I see people saying how WoW groups are the most toxic people ever, and outside of a few groups (admittedly more than here, but still rare)...not my experience there, either, really.

As a casual player, group content just sucks most of the time at the moment. I don't think I have much else to add to the discussion besides to say that only recently have I ever elected to leave a duty early, or had players actively be mean spirited or enforce their own punishments on other players.

I'm pretty certain it's the influx of players for the expansion, and it'll calm down in a few months, but for now it just...sucks.
