Inventory space in this game is UNNACEPTABLE for a subscription based game.

I'm leveling all the crafting jobs, I literally have NO space anymore, gonna use all the material items to keep leveling so I can't just trash stuff.
I am FORCED to pay for additional retainers if I want to keep leveling all the jobs.
I'm ok with this practice on a F2P or B2P game, but this is a P2P game. Limiting space like they do in this game just to force people to pay for additional retainers is a pure scam and greedy practice. They do that on purpose, there's more crafting materials than you can store.

A few examples on how to "fix" this.. Guildwars 2 has a materials specific bank, it works perfectly and literally no one complains.
Swtor You can have 2 banks, account bank and personal character bank. You can upgrade each bank from 100 to 500+items storage using in-game currency, it's cheap and it works.

Cash shop should be cosmetic only specially on a subscription based game, but selling in-game QoL is just to much.

Now I have two options: 1 - quit the game for refusing to feed their greedy mindset. 2 - keep feeding this hungry monster by buying additional retainers.

Listen, I agree space management is hard in this game, but if you're going to threaten to quit because of it than most people don't care. Your crafters are level 1 since last the lodestone updated. Throw away all that vendor trash. Don't hoard things like fireworks, furnishings and other event items unless you have a place to put it. I mean come back and talk when your gatherers are up in level and they are supporting higher level crafting classes. If you're complaining before it's really begun, then you should quit or suck it up and buy that extra retainer or two. The "I quit because I don't like something" gets old.

Nobody is forced to buy additional services for this game at all, if you want to purchase more retainers or not that is completely optional on your part. As for leveling multiple jobs, there is lot of space and many jobs share gear so already you are saving inventory if you level similar jobs close together.

3 - Level Crafters, Gatherers, Fending users, Striking users, Aiming users, Healing users, and Casting users close together. Prior to level 42, Casting and Healing gear is combined. Prior to level 50, Striking and Maiming gear is combined. When leveling things together, once the gear is useless to one class/job, it's useless to you overall as well and can be scrapped or relegated to the glamour dresser.

Paying extra subscription fees just to have adequate storage space is bullshit in a subscription game. Hell it'd be bullshit in a f2p game. Exactly no f2p game I'm aware of makes you RENT your bank space. Virtually all of them make you buy it outright, but none of them keep charging you just to keep it. Whether this guy's crafting classes are leveled or not doesn't make him wrong about this. He's right on the money that this is crap.

I'm not saying it's not bs, but you know your options as well as I do. We all know our options, but for me I don't think quitting is one of them. It's a pay to craft world in Eorzea no denying that.
