    I don't want to scream the skill name (sorry, most skill names are definitely NOT scream/ chant material..), just let me chant some random, but nice sounding gibberish and I'm good. we can just pretend it's some ancient language from a time when this spell was first discovered.

    Silence counters spellcasting, so it's not too far off to let us chant something while casting. It's also a common trope that saying the words helps the caster focusing on the task though it's not strictly required to do it. Just like a staff helps focusing or enhancing the energies but is not strictly required to cast (see Sylphie, she does it with a flick of her wrist instead of using her wand). Advised, yes. But not required.
