I don't see why they should remove second ring to be honest. There are always two rings at highest iLvl, so it doesn't by necessity make sense to do this.

Learn, explore, and think for yourself. Make your choices, take actions, and let yourself be free.
Why would they remove a ring when there are weddings in the game, wedding ring goes on left hand. Need both rings. Remove the belt, cant see it anyway.
My vote is get rid of the ring. Get rid of the belt and you lose Vit. Easier to spread the stats of the ring out than that of the belt.
Since Belts have no glamour, Im in support of getting rid of the Waist.
Im not sure what they could do about the 2nd ring though..I mean even if they get rid of the Waist gear, it would create some balancing issues since those are now missing stats.
Er, you do know accessories (including rings) have the same amount of Vit as belts now, right?
Did you mean Defense? Because yeah that could be a bit of a concern.
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
I'd preffer the use of just one ring... but, not any ring... the... One Ring... u.u
"One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them".
Meaning: the wedding ring... '-'
But, seriously, I don't see any issue with the equipments but if they want to get rid of a ring slot to bring something new, maybe they should include facial acessories like piercings or tatoos for the body parts that gives us some stats.
Get rid of the second ring slot for stat and space reasons. You can throw in a cosmetic slot for things like the eternal ring. This way we actually have space for rings, which are the most numerous item in the game currently. Belts are basically a non-issue.
This wil cause some materia issues.
Unless, of course, you allow 4 melds for basic, and 6 overmelds for crafted.
10 materia slots, holy moly
That's not even a problem to begin with.
And I would only agree if they change the system to something better, and not just remove.
