What I meant was just strike in the wrong spot. For example, if the leve target is found at the center of the circle, strike on the outside. This is exacty what I do in Fieldcraft Leves that require obtaining the 3 specific items: for instance, with High-Quality Obsidian (found at +4) I place myself at -5, but this doesn't ensure that I won't find it, and so certain times I still find the item even if I'm at the opposite sweet spot. That's why, when I understand I'm about to obtain one of the 3 items, I put away my tool.
I put my micro menu where the loot icon used to pop up. I never miss it now. :3

Hello again. I'm bringing this Topic back up for this reason:
A few moments ago I had this happen once again:3. Loot List icon removed from the top of the screen
For some reason the Loot List flashing icon was removed... Now it appears very little in the micro menu. I think it will be enlarged, but that's not my point.
After patch 1.20, the +3 items are no longer obtainable. However, I've aaaall the ones hardly earned in my 14 moons in Eorzea that I was waiting to use until the HQ mechanics revamps scheduled for 1.20 (and postponed to 1.21; I'm talking about the real deal: using HQ materials that ensure a HQ result.).
Therefore, with all the new +1 items, I had a big increase in inventory space, as I don't feel like throwing away the old +3 ones. For this reason, it happened that while I was gathering, not seeing the flashing Loot List icon (the micro menu disappears while gathering), I lost +1 gathered materials because I had full inventory without realizing it.
So, would it be possible to have the Loot List icon back and have it flash even while you're gathering or crafting?
I got those Light Kidney Ores +1 while I was gathering in total relax and talking with another adventurer. For this reason, I didn't realize I had already got so many Iron Ores that my Inventory was filled.
In the past there was that nice Loot List Icon flashing above. After all these months I still don't understand why it was removed. Any chance to have it back, so that we don't have to always check if the inventory is filled?
When I do gathering I'm in total relax and I don't pay attention to a mini-icon in the micro menu with all those already existing icons.
Please bring the original Loot List Icon back, or even better an option for us to trigger it, so that who wants it can have it and who doesn't want it can leave it off.
Thanks.

What dark magick is this?!
I do miss looking for the Loot List icon near the top. I admit, I checked it more often then.
Will try to see if I can drag the interface around later. Hopefully separate the icon from the others.

UI lag is a lot worse

yeah started gathering myself and noticed this as well, I guess if they didn't make the micro menu disappear when gathering/crafting it would helpHello again. I'm bringing this Topic back up for this reason:
