Have they said that's coming? Or are people just assuming?Yep a must needed adjustment considering we are expecting to get MORE Trust Companions in the future through the MSQ and maybe other sources later as well for Optional Trust Companions
Right now we only have the "Starter Pack" of the Trust System and bare bone function for the system until future contents start adding more things into Trust System.
The trust menu is built to hold exactly the six characters we have now.
That's not to say they can't expand it, but there's no guarantee they will. Future content could just continue to use the same party.
As of now mostly assuming but it should be expected considering how the storyline is expected to expand with new characters.
As of right now the Trust system has several things being....
1) basic Trust Dungeon for leveling (both player and trust)
2) A achievement and title for Max leveling all Trust Companions.
3) Unlock 1st set of Alternate Outfits for current characters being their Pre-Shadowbringer outfits which require Max leveling all Current Trust Characters.
I am curious if they plan to add more alternate outfits because you know people will drool over Y'shtola in a swimsuit.
Well we know they have alternate outfit system in Trust (with the first set being the Preshadowbringer outfits for Max leveling all current Trusts) so we can expect maybe more alternate outfits in the future as a possible content.
Also, since these alternate outfits still have to remain in their character, it would be interesting to see how these characters will dress like for certain themes.
I dunno if SE has a great track record for treating their characters with dignity. I mean, Lightning was supposed to be their badass female contribution to the Final Fantasy hero lineup, and, sheesh, some of the outfits you can doll HER up in... (And, dear Lord, her standard serious expression looks so comical paired with them!)
SE is not shy about sating the thirsty fans, especially if they can make a buck doing so. The real question will be whether they provide male eye candy, as well. And to be honest, this game has been pretty decent about giving their man-hungry clientele a hearty bone to chew on. If we do get Summerbreeze Y'shtola, I'm sure we'll see Seaside Thancred, as well.
Anyway, it wouldn't shock me to find such Trust outfits on the Mogstation, eventually.
