Just have a ARC with a good amount of PIE and have them as designated binder (make sure their shadowbind is apart of a combo for a long bind duration. By the time PLD is unbound, the combo will be ready again) and you can pretty much do this with any DD make up.

The real important part is your CON in first phase. Melee alone are not going to take down WAR and PLD very fast. As the video shows, your CON need to half focus on nuking.

The kill order is not very different from ours aside from a few. Which isn't vastly different. If you do your kill order differently, it's not a big deal. Just do what works for your group.

We completely agree with you that having the classes properly geared with appropriate stats (such as PIE/DEX for archers) is favorable. In our shell each member uses the appropriate gear and materia to reach what we have confirmed to be thresholds for the classes stats. Our member Kory began recording the data and began a post at the link posted below to show what he has so far confirmed.

For further information from Kory regarding the thresholds you can view his wiki page on our site:

Having one or multiple binds ready with a bind order from either of the classes which can bind (ARC/THM) should eliminate the majority of your frustration with Whiskerwall. Just remember that if he is "Maxi Moogle" the bind will wear off upon the completion of Shaggysong's buff. It will take some practice, but placing Whiskerwall in a designated "bind area" will allow easy targeting and effective range for increasing the probability of your binds. If all else fails you should be able to reattempt bind after 30 seconds should both bind classes fail the first attempt. This practice also will make it so it does not matter who has hate on Whiskerwall. If the tank's mages are having issues during the second phase initially you can help them out by ensuring anyone but them have hate before the moogles preform their ceremony. I hope this helps!

Just a few tips for tanking. I usually save my mp for Decoy, so I can pop it when I see the target on me for the moogle eyeshot. Sentinel when you see the red aura around king to reduce flare damage. Start running away if you see yellow from the king to avoid the first hit on his maxi. If sentinel and decoy are both on cool down, just tell your mages to ready their big heals, so you won't die in case you get flare and eyeshot at the same time.

Also Aegis Boon is a life saver after flare. You will heal up to 800 HP on activation. Just pop it right before flare goes off so the next hit heals you.
