Dont quite understand why some people limit themselves to 1 job

I can relate with OP: i struggled to find jobs that have an appealing playstile, and in the end, wasting lot of time in trying them out, i managed to find 2 or 3 that I really enjoy. Maybe in another universe there's another me who resonated with just one job, and if that job would suddenly become unrewarding, stressful or blatantly undertuned i may consider to quit the game entirely.

I'm not familiar with the whole Ninja situation, but judging by the endless wave of criticism he'll surely receive some love in the next patch.

...maybe because they just might not be interested in other classes in that role? It's possible. I don't how you wouldn't "understand" this. Not everybody wants to level every class in the game dude; it's not like it's a requirement or whatever, it is pure choice and should be viewed as something extra, something superfluous (as far as DoW and DoM go).

Personally, as far as thevDPS go, I'm not too interested in anything except for Samurai.
I'm not gonna go and waste my time leveling a class unless I'm going to largely enjoy it - both from a gameplay perspective and aesthetic-wise.

    can totally relate.
Even if i played other classes during SB and pretty much barely ever played my NIN due to tanking ex trials to grind and trying out summoner i still got the newest gear always for my NIN first as it was still my main and love
shadowbringers now changed exactly that, it just is so heavily unrewarding that it even takes away the intrest to play anything else since it would be a waste of time equipping that NIN anyway.
Sure: "You get the content done" is always something people say but just within my guild there are 3 NINs who lost intrest in the class entirely due to all the oGCD clipping or their internet connection wavering and making their dps even more abyssmal then it already is. One is rerolling Samurai so he can be at least os use in the savage content, the other doesnt even play anymore.

    Its just sad

Yup this is Real thing happening to players who play this class its either quit the game since they killed their favorite class or Switch to another Role and quite frankly not everyone has time to just LEVEL up another class
i know it comes from kinder place to say that but trust me if you make a class Extremely hard to play and requires good internet and ZERO Reward. either your gonna get mad as heck or players going tell you play something else
NOT A VERY FUN EXPERIENCE. Party finder has started Excluding Ninjas for Content now too....so yeah i also main it... think this is a huge issue.

I never played Dragoon in my life and i played Ninja for a few years now and i have to say holy crap i picked up dragoon after like 5 dungeon runs and it outpreforms Ninja in everyway with way less effort.

There is actually zero reason to play Ninja over Dragoon as it stands now. Why play a harder job that contributes less damage then an easymode job that destroys everything in it's path?

I agree man, I like complex jobs. The very fact that I can't perfect the rotation gives me something to strive for! If I am going to play the piano adeptly on my keyboard, I expect a Sonata(big dps) at the end, not Mary Had a Little Lamb(small dps). It is like fighting to reel in a fish for 20 minutes and finding out it was a shoe all along.

If you give a job a complex, if not the most complex, rotation in the game then, trick attack utility be damned, give us a spot that is at least above the middle of the pack in dps...
