When can we expect Viera Helms?

Just wondering what the timeline for Viera helms is?

For me anyways, the novelty of the ears has long wore off. If it's gonna be too long I will just race change to something else because I want to have a helm again and IDC if it hides my ears.

I'm perfectly capable of imagining them getting cut off in battle so the lore doesn't matter


Either way, Does SE have an ETA?

Probably never, except for some select few. I wouldn't expect too many, unless they do clipping like au ra.

I'm more worried about my hairstyles that I paid for/earned. Viera is my favorite race, but too limited.

I think they'll add them slowly over time. It's a safe bet in my opinion we won't get them all but we will get more. I personally hope we get a lot more hairstyles and soon. I would be disappointed if we don't see a bunch for 5.1,

Short Answer: No, No ETA, Maybe in the next Live Letter.

Long Answer: They started making the race with the intention of not making any helms, then reversed that decision. So it depends on when they changed their decision and how long it takes to adapt all the headsets.. I'd wager it might even be the reason why there's some Edengate helmets that don't show even if they're new piece of gear.. For now, the playerbase is at peace and patient, but I think everyone playing Hrothgar et Viera are expecting an update in the next live letter. They did said it was coming and they didn't narrowed the scope (E.I. didn't say they were working for a sub selection of helms)..

At first I wasn't bothered by it, but now I'm hoping for it sooner than later.
At the very least give us AF/Raid Gear/Mogstation/Achievement gear. That is all hard earned/paid for/part of your class. A RDM/BARD without those wonderful hats are just really sad.
I do appreciate the glasses and flowers though! I also agree with paid hairstyles, please make those work.

If it doesn't make sense for the ears to poke out of some helmets, simply hide the ears. We already know this is possible.

The issue is putting someone on the item table and make the key ins without mistyping anything and causing errors with that item. Its tedious work and I can see the reluctance. But we are talking about an entire race, a popular one at that.
