Suggestion - Gender equality "Battle Stance", "Victory Pose" and weapon idle emotes

It's interesting how this goes, because when I played as NIN I always thought the female NIN idle pose was cooler. It seems we all want what the other has, so I don't know why this hasn't been given to us yet.

Dude. It's the same with the male Samurai too. It looks way cooler how they just backhand their katana in a relaxed pose. Whereas I think the female version looks the opposite.

first off in video games we have two gender of miq'ati because people complain original the were only female. I will ask for more gender base emotions. when come to video games male and female are base on really genders which right now are culture is tried total destroy for sport to movies to the way men sit on public transit. I would like one place were men aren't the target for destroy or woman aren't every I hope it would be video games. male and female are different. I fine with gender lock animation because aleast nobody be attack here. male and female are different in rl why shouldn't they remain the different in video games. how are people on this thread building a mountain out of mole hill because this thing barely noticeable in game there 3 emotions that you want unlock they not important to your enjoyment of the games yet your make 13 page of thread demand them to be unlock because it suit your feeling or hurt them. ffxiv has come lightyear since we had only female miq and male of another races. through we back to deal with on other races in 1.0

the reason I care is I am a escapist I believe that one should sit down infront of a video game be able escape the world demand and have fun together and now worried about PC culture or other group tried destroy the game or tried change the game I believe in have fun and not tried bring any for of political or an ideal threat to bring political or remove for fantasy for the game through of my belief of fantasy being basic off of reality

I'm a constitutional conservative who just wants more poses to use in gpose but please. Go on how locking how someone stands behind gender is breaking the idea of fantasy when Fordola uses the make Paladin pose during a cutscene.

I want more poses to enhance the fantasy of being a badass paladin.

I want more poses to get the fantasy of being a Dragoon, defender of Ishgard, and not a used spear saleswoman.

I want, if you can believe it, to have some cooler poses then slashing the air behind me.

I can't remember what the female one looks like, but the male one always felt like bad form. BUT if you're trying to be some wacky badass that doesn't follow any rules, then I can see how it can be cool.

It's pretty funny cause I seem to recall (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that at one point, a certain character in the SAM quest series is called out for holding the sword like that... and it's the male SAM pose lol.

first as gamer I don't like to be bully in to accept some else standard and this is what come back to a desire bully other to accept other standard. as Christian I realize that Christ Jesus doesn't desire force people to the faith. the difference between the me and Sjw is that one should be force to accept they standard the sjw demand everyone accept there standard. my question to orginal author is this why do you want remove gender base stance, I like the stance aren't neutral is your right to force the rest of us to your standard are you not the one tried force your standard down are throats or the japense or any other ffxiv community throat. Is your world view behind your demand.

I just think some of the male/female weapon emotes look better than their gendered counter-part. Especially WAR, DRK & DRG, I think the male emotes are just better imo.
If this was enacted you would be able to use any emote you want so I'm not feeling like this will force anyone to change.

my suggest is bring new emotion like a were you beacon your foe to fight
one could called job basic threat pose I also think wolf howl would awesome emotion, the warrior let lose wolf like howl to intimate they foe these emotion won't be lock to gender see I suggest new emotion not tried get older one changes.

if they introduce a dragonling companion for all jobs I like emotion with each job feature that too

It is great that you like them. But no one is asking for them to be changed. They are asking for the option to choose between them. When I eventually get DRG fully leveled, I would much rather do Kain's iconic Dragoon pose, than a generic lean on my lance pose. I would also like to be able to do the male cpose for WAR sometimes. No one is asking for the eradication of the other poses. Just the power to choose between them. Which honestly would not be that difficult, we've seen time and again, female NPCs using male only poses and vice versa. So, the work to allow this would be minimal.

The heaviest amount of work, would likely be the UI to allow these choices. But it could be as simple as a screen of toggle switches, which would take some time, but in the long run, I think it would be time well invested as it would enrich the player experience for those who put time into giving their character more personality due to a wider range of emotes at their disposal. Again, this isn't about getting rid of one pose in favor of another and if you like the female DRG and DRK poses over the male ones, that's fine and no one is trying to take those away from you. We just want the power to choose which one we want our character to do.

as I said that going back for SE and doing more work on thing they already put out. instead suggest new emotion that could be adds that be more to your liking. to move forward and add new emotions that you would like not backward and work on what already put out
