Last time I checked the reason why we have so many WoW refugees (I still have to que to log in after 1 month) is because WoW sucks at both PvP and PvE. If you are here mainly for PvP, it is a bad idea. The feast population is so small that if is pretty much 150 people compete for top 100 and que always dies after initial 3 weeks if you don’t que 18 hours a day

Play SCH in a frontline and try to consistently get over 300k. The job is actually awful.

There's that and AST is simply out of this world atm in terms of toolkit comparison, especially for FLs.

Playing healer in frontlines is the biggest garbage ever. The skill Attunement is just simply nonsense. You cant use it to protect yourself by the incoming burst damage once you are stunned and cant heal up while you are in protection because it denies any actions. The "no movement" was okay but no actions in that short time does nothing but just delays your death.
You just cant simply survive a burst of 2-3 players anymore and thats pretty sad. Good job on the balancing part SE.

It would be horrible, if we had pve skills changed because they are to strong/weak in pvp.
These forums sure do love their false ultimatums...

You can have the same spread or number of abilities, and toolkit depth therein, without each having the same power between both PvE and PvP. Not wanting to adjust PvE potency values or the like due to their distinct use in PvP =/= "You must reduce PvP actions to a bare, braindead minimum!"

For something that Blizzard is not able to balance PvP/pve for pass 10 years. This system makes its sense by following model of LOL. Unless you have a revolutionary idea, your statement is just to criticize for the sake of to crticize

Plus we pretty much never had that. Yeah SMN could just delete people with medal stacks, but only people in 8v8 and lower than plat wouldn't react to fester/ed/painflare/dwt/deathflare. Plus we had a few skills that were changed so they wouldn't be too effective in PvP - swiftcast being one of them as well as most CC.

PvP was quite strictly balanced had its greatest streamlining in Legion, yet that was also the period in which WoW PvP was most criticized by its fan base.

There is absolutely nothing revolutionary about just mildly altering effects and potencies between PvP and PvE rather than taking a cleaver to the PvE toolkit and leaving only the most resistant or eye-catching parts on the table for PvP. It's the way MMOs have done handled PvP to far greater percentage participation for damn near forever.

Within reason, having asymmetry in the different capacities across different jobs/classes/specs is not a failure of balance; if anything, it keeps PvP more likely and attractive, if we're to judge by player surveys, participation percentage, and hours played in PvP.
Nor does having a larger toolkit, nor one that increases in depth with level count just as PvE kits do, turn most players off to PvP; quite the opposite.

Easier said than done, especially when we already have a failed example such as WoW itself. It was never balanced. Not to mention that ridiculous amount of HP player has, the way they gimp talent system is laughable at the best. This weekend o was forced to play in Epic Battleground because of the PvE necklace. That mind numbing brainless zerginf bored the hell out of me.
