Immersion? I don't feel immersed as a Dancer with all the ranger armors they present us.

Plus, there are more tanks wearing bikinis amd cloth armors in this game than actual plate armors.

It's a shame that some players want to keep this restriction over having more options to make yourself more different to others. I guess they're creativity to what their avatar should look like is so basic, that they cannot think to even start with more armor skins.

The irony is a lot of the Ninja sets suits Dancer a LOT more than the Aiming sets, yet SE decided to lump Dancers in with rangers and now a lot of the gear Dancers wear either look like cowboy sets or wilderness survival sets.

I don't quite get this logic - there's a difference between the gear available to the class and the gear you wear playing that class.

Yes, I do think dancer should have been paired with ninja, and they have more gear that would have been suitable. But we're stuck with bard/machinist/dancer sharing gear whether we like it or not.

Ideally, with three classes sharing the same gear but not aesthetics, one-third of gear should be appropriate for each class (or one-quarter each and the rest is stuff like the Shisui swimwear and Nomad robes). That inherently leaves a lot of unsuitable outfits from the perspective of any one class. "I'm a machinist, why are three-quarters of my gear based on fantasy archer outfits and pretty dresses?"

Shared gear can never cater for any one class all the time. You just hope they keep it balanced, and if you got sci-fi armour as "dancer" gear this time, you glamour straight over it with the relic gear or the Brightlinen Himation or the exclusive Makai dress or any of the previous sets that DO suit dancer.

There always have been, and always will be, gear for every class that doesn't suit the class - and a very easily available solution.
