What are your aetherpool levels? If you are struggling try restarting from the first floor and increase your aetherpool, as the higher you can get them the easier you can cheat a lot of the mechanics from the bosses.

If they're starting from 41, boss at 50 is Edda, and I don't think you can cheat those mechanics. Getting hit by aoe charges the room-wide skill, which will wipe if charged enough. I mean, I haven't played much of PotD. Maybe at 99/99 it's a different story (though I think at some point you're capped/synced?). But it did seem kinda unforgiving to me.

Can relate to OP, tho. Took me several attempts to get grouped with people that were at least competent enough to pull it off. Several wipes, at boss or before, from players not really understanding they ought to take things a little more careful on those floors. And ffs, quit opening chests during a fight, don't move around so much during a fight, and stay with the group. Spawning extra mobs or mimics can be devastating.
