ok illl askTo me it "feels" like WAR only when I press inner release and spam bloodspiller 5 times, but GNB and PLD also feel like WAR to me in that same regard. I don't even want to level WAR after playing the other three tanks, but I don't have to since drk is literally WAR :^). Maybe DRK was always WAR since stormblood, and the speed only blinded us from the truth. But those are real big brain thoughts. Anyway, this isn't the thread to have this discussion for the 10000th time.
what do you think sets apart WAR and DRK from a gameplay perspective
I'll give it a go.
-not having to put up storms eye
-war not having a spammable ogcd like edge/flood
-war doesn't really have any ogcds to use while doing your rotation, sure it has onslaught and upheaval but you can't really use those at will like you can on DRK and the other tanks
-war doesn't have to worry about any sort of resource so you really just can go all out attack wise, while DRK you have to really know if you can use another edge here or there (of course it isn't really hard to plan, but the point still stands)
But that's just from my gameplay perspective. I can set up my DRK and WAR skills to mimic eachother and yet I have to play them differently.

DRK is too similar to WAR only when it comes to Delirium/Bloodspiller, for the rest it works differently - as far as tanks can be defined "different", clearly, which is not much to start with. Didn't read many people complaining about PLD being similar to WAR, though - but that must be because it has TWO buffs for spamming different types of not-Fell Cleaves instead of one. Meh. As far as tanks work, I think it's my favourite one - people might not be fond of the usage of TBN, but once you know how to use it it's just too good to not miss it on other tanks.
FoF is equivacal to Darkside/Storm's Eye, not Delirium/ZerkRelease. It's just more manual and cumbersome than the other two.
But I have no complaint about Holy Spirit spam because it marries well with the kit due to that nuance of how FoF works. Requiscat is a form-fitting jigsaw piece to add to the PLD puzzle.
If Blood felt less juxtaposed, I think the sting of Delirium would be subdued as well

About damn time lol Finally I can get that juicy cluster from leveling roulette!
Also, Jesus Christ this DRK/WAR discussion again? You people need to take it to the other million threads out there.
