Disheartened healer annoyed with Shadowbringers' difficulty

My oppinion is healers are suppost to heal. We need to get out of the habbit of dpsing all the time and start looking at it more like is it safe to dps. My whm is 74 as well right now. What I find is if I prep enough with regen and benisen then I can dps fir about 5 holy spans before I need to start being more careful. I don't worry about doing a perfect rotation like aero on all the mobs. But when I find a point to dps I do what I can but keep focus on healing cause that's my job. I understand people think that its boring but this is how healers are. If you like to do damage be a dps or tank. Tanks have a lot better dps utility now so you might look at it like tank got the blue dps and healers only heal.

Even with spamming holy and healing, you really only should need a heal or two to get your tank to the point where you're spamming holy again... that's not a very large break

in dg it really depends of the tank, and the dps

As SCH it's easier .. coz u spam aow while targeting tank and just try to use oGCDs on him while spamming aoe damage.

WHM is similar but holy isn't instant and u got less oGCD .. so u need to be more careful .. I'm less used of whm than sch and I sometimes get surprised at ho ast tank's hp can drop. but it also depends on tank. I usually try to use afflatus firstand heal as needed but u need to stay on your toes with big packs of mobs

I actually find it the opposite in dungeons...and that's as a SCH main. That's not to say it's impossible or 'hard' as SCH (or really even as AST)...but that stun from Holy is crazy sweet, and normally I find it more like this:

Holy + Benison -> Holy + Tetra -> Holy + Assize -> Holy or heal, etc.
