The female viera art of the moonfire event poster is the exact reason why I think its obvious that they gave female viera a practically naked racial gear. As much as I hate to say it, I think the sex appeal is a big part of it. I like the viera for a multitude of reasons, and that is one of them (abet not the biggest one).

The fact that Square decided to give female characters the choice of the incredibly dainty-faced, scantily-dressed viera and the male characters the buff, powerful hrothgar also looks REALLY BAD. Don't get me wrong, I love the hrothgar and think they're likely the most unique player race thus far, but the way SE chose to segregate those two races by sex doesn't make them look good. At all.

Agreed. I dont think this was done with a sexist intention, but it did come off as it to many players and non players alike (not including myself). I hope that male viera and female hrotgar will recive the same treatment. Male viera for sex appeal, and female hrotgar as buff, powerfull and cool looking.

Also, one big issue, is that u can make your female viera look downright like a child.

Because the way it's implemented effects my enjoyment of the game. And these forums are for talking about the game.

You could easily use that argument when talking about nearly anything related to a video game, whether it be plot, character customization options or classes/jobs. Just because you don't care about something doesn't mean others feel the same, and it also doesn't invalidate how they feel.

In zodiark, theres a decent amount of female vieras, but little to no male hrotgars anywhere unlessu go to a specific server, might just be myserver then?

Plz dont change to any other race, having ur kind arround makes the world of this game feel so much better uwu
