Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

As much as I hate to say it, I think the sex appeal is a big part of it. I like the viera for a multitude of reasons, and that is one of them (abet not the biggest one).

The fact that Square decided to give female characters the choice of the incredibly dainty-faced, scantily-dressed viera and the male characters the buff, powerful hrothgar also looks REALLY BAD. Don't get me wrong, I love the hrothgar and think they're likely the most unique player race thus far, but the way SE chose to segregate those two races by sex doesn't make them look good. At all.

Agreed. I dont think this was done with a sexist intention, but it did come off as it to many players and non players alike (not including myself). I hope that male viera and female hrotgar will recive the same treatment. Male viera for sex appeal, and female hrotgar as buff, powerfull and cool looking.

Also, one big issue, is that u can make your female viera look downright like a child.

Sex appeal is fine as long as it manifests in the form of their fierce warrior nature.

As for male Hrothgar, at least to certain crowds sex appeal is a draw for them as well.
