Just ignore it. It's clear that certain posters don't care if they are banned, they're just posting to get a reaction - so don't give them one. The thread will be cleaned up in due time, once the moderators deal with the report. I suspect they largely work standard 9-5 hours during weekdays and have a lesser presence on weekends. That's just speculation, though.
Either way, by responding and getting visibly worked up you're just giving the posters what they want - a derailment of the thread and drama.

Sadly my post quoting that guy was also deleted. I should have separated it into two. To reiterate things that I had said...
I'm very much okay with people continuing to request these other genders, by all means go for it but I have seen some people speaking in terms of when instead of if; this is a mistake given the information that we have right now.
Specifically there was one poster who was saying he thought it would be great if they were to release male Viera at some point during the 5.x storyline but that we likely won't see them until 6.0. This is going to breed a lot of negativity once 6.0 rolls around If male Viera are not included there and I'm not looking forward to rehashing all of these same arguments.
To be abundantly clear they have not confirmed the inclusion of male Viera or female Hrothgar and have counseled a tempering of expectations for them.
I won't use this as a cudgel to discourage people still asking for these things (barring this idea that's floating around saying that they should release less content in order to include the other genders, I'm still very much opposed to that) but I do think it's important to call out unrealistic expectations so that they don't fester and grow into another community-wide assuredness that "we will be getting them" which can only make people feel that much worse if we see a 6.0 without them.

They pretty much answered why this isn't happening. It's not difficult folks.

When the game's story becomes self-aware:

With the exception of it being a part of the storyline (/gasp... there's Male bunny's here and we found them!) That's a no.

Oh, boy, I've misplaced my Lore argument takedown sticky. Cliff notes:
1) The WoL is the ultimate exception to all Lore rules: The one non-padjali White Mage, the one living SCH with powers, one of 2 Azure Dragoons.
2) Viera lore follows Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon lore, which has playable Males, yet only 3 in story and NONE in the MSQ.
3) The availability of a race/gender combination for playable charactes does nothing to the Lore in-story, see Moonkeeper Lore.
4) Unless the Wood branwashes every male in existence, it's insane to think that not one would leave it.
5) Yoshi-P already confirmed it was not a Lore issue but a resource issue.
6) Yoshi-P also confirmed we'll be getting references to mViera fHrothgar in-game, even if we may not see them yet.
The post-letter discussion reiterates two feelings of mine on FFXIV:
1. This absurdly tight patch cycle isn't sustainable, nor is it worth trying to maintain when time and resources are wasted on content that is subsequently abandoned by the player base and/or the developers (Diadem, Eureka, Blue Mage, most of the Gold Saucer, PvP, Heaven on High, Squadrons). Meanwhile, class balance is at an all-time low, healers have been disrespected one too many times, and QoL features/graphical fidelity continue to fall behind even f2p competitors. A shift in priority to quality over quantity for the longterm has been long overdue.
2. The development team is in desperate need of new creative blood. Yoshida did a wonderful job saving the game, but the increasingly arrogant nature of his responses to anything outside the status quo over the past year or so paints the picture of someone burnt out, and without direction, or insight into what the game's community really wants.
