I mean If I'm gonna be honest, I am from the USA and play on NA, I'm more inclined to believe it's some American troll not gonna lie, but that was hardly the point of my rant anyways.
I'm leveling DNC right now. I was doing roulettes with a couple of friends today, we were in something Omega related for Normal Raid Roulette.
I forgot how En Avant worked and yeeted myself off the platform (my camera was facing one way and my character facing the other). I laughed, they laughed, and the healer raised me. My goldfish memory failed me and I did it again the moment I got back up. No one laughed this time. They made me lay shamefully on the floor so I could think about what a bad DNC I was. It was only fair.

Had an interesting leveling roulette(got Sirensong) on my alt, my alt has returner status but i make sure to let people know it is an alt so they do not have to worry about explaining mechanics, now after that i get the usual ok from the tank(GNB) and the other dps(BRD) and hlr(WHM) both say they do not understand English in French. This sets off my warning alarm(personal statistic is i have been with way more bad French only speaking players than good) but run can go smooth language does not matter if everyone knows what they are doing, suffice to say it did until after the 2nd boss tank said they need 2 mins as their cat just barfed on floor.
Mid way typing in French what the tank just said when the brd pulled as in the big pull where tanks can get chewed up when not using cds, suffice to say them and the hlr eat the floor, then the profanity came so much profanity, so i finished typing out what the tank said just before and added 2 new sentences explaining i can understand and write French and what they said is very much not ok to do in a public chat and that they had best watch it in the future because anyone can learn their language just like they could learn English. Rest of the run went smooth once tank got back and i explained that the brd and hlr eat the floor because they didn't wait as they didn't understand English well.
It is fine to use the language you are most comfortable with but do not try and hide behind it when you are being insulting you have no clue if the people your with can understand you or not and if they do you are liable for reporting and potentially bans.

I have a few tank stories to share from my duties today.
First one comes courtesy of a slightly undergeared newbie tank from Faerie in The Twinning, in which I was healing.
This new tank was absolutely shocking. I literally couldn't believe it.
You have no idea how much this tank just took my breath away.
This "sprout" used proper cooldowns during large trash pulls, asked about bosses and when we wiped asked what exactly happened and how we died so they wouldn't do it again/look out for the tells if it happens again. They also asked if they could pull big to see exactly what it felt like to do a large pull and I said I would do my best to keep them up. Sure enough, even better use of mitigating abilities and not only that but they entirely 100% earned my comm and then some.
HUGE FREAKING SHOUTOUT TO YOU! I hope you read this. You were awesome and don't EVER stop tanking. You were the best tank I've healed in a long time. I can't wait to see what you are like with 440 gear. KUDOS AND THUMBS UP TO YOU!
-----------
Secondly and thirdly, comes two tales from Melikah's Well. Load in and there's a tank that is in entirely i390 gear except one i406 ring from Qitana.
I was entirely amazed that I managed to keep them alive for the entire run. I would have ditched but said I would help my FC friend get their DNC to 78 before reset.
When I asked them about it, they admitted that they were on an alt and were just really unlucky with drops. Sure enough, end of the first boss, the fending belt drops and they snatch it up and immediately put it on.
The only problem was if they pulled a single pack, they would single target and not worry about the other mobs, so the two Dancer's would almost instantly rip aggro away from the tank and they wouldn't notice until one of the Dancer's health got below 50%.
By the end of the dungeon they had managed to pick up 5 extra pieces of gear and were a fair amount easier to heal. So i'll give them props to that.
The very next run of the well I get a GNB with a i400 weapon and entirely kitted out in HQ i406 gear. This player had all three other tanks to 80. I thought they were going to be super proactive and I would have a breeze of an easy run.
This tank was worse to heal than the previous tank. I felt like a Cure 2 bot.
The GNB only used a total of 7 cooldowns in the entire run. But the tone is set from the very first pull.
They pull both packs at the start and around the first corner. I throw out Devine Benison and Tetra and start casting Cure 2. About 2 seconds later just as the Cure 2 cast is going off.
SUPERBOLIDE
They were at 85% health.
Nowhere close to death and I would have been able to keep them up too.
But this freaking tank tested my patience throughout the entire run.
They died during the first boss fight because they didn't use any mitigating abilities even when I was Cure 2 spamming and had run out of Cure Lillies.
They popped Superbolide AGAIN during another trash pack but this time it was when they were at 100% health AND directly after I had given them the shield and a cure lily. I didn't heal them until it was just about to tick off...
My favourite was during the second boss. Where the boss is at about 20% health and the tank has just taken the two tankbusters and I've healed through them. The GNB then pops Camouflage AND Nebula at the same time. When they were taking a grand total of zero damage.
--I will never understand the laziness of not pressing cooldown buttons when it is needed--
There was a few times when there was so many wipes on Middy (O10N) That I watched as my gear durability went from 100% down to 4 to 12% On Average Generally at that point I would let people know I was out to repair then would politely leave past that. That said yeah the notification of Listen up you primitive screw head REPAIR YOUR GEAR! has been a thing for awhile.I've gotten the notification a couple times myself if I've been on a roulette / same dungeoun binge. always repair quickly.
Also that reminds me is it just me or does it seem like equipment is made out of wet tissue paper lately as far as durability?
At that point i wouldn't actually blame you after that many wipes it would wear most peoples gear, that statement is aimed at people who have equipment break before the 1st boss in a dungeon etc. There was a few times when there was so many wipes on Middy (O10N) That I watched as my gear durability went from 100% down to 4 to 12% On Average Generally at that point I would let people know I was out to repair then would politely leave past that. I have found i need to repair before i finish all my roulettes on my alt since they do not have crafters but my main doesn't feel it as much since can repair to 199% condition

Too bad the message doesn't happen until after you've already entered the queue, in which case if you're out in the middle of nowhere and you get an instaqueue, you're often still boned. If it's an instaqueue you can't even teleport to a settlement to get to a repair NPC, because teleports no longer work after the queue has popped.
It needs to outright prevent people with broken or nearly-broken gear from queueing in order to be really useful.
