energy drain will give like 1k dps for sch and will be on SAME level like WHM
2 more patches like this and we will got HW and SB history repeat again ...
MARK MY WORDS 2 MORE PATCHES AND WHM WILL BE AGAIN UNWANTED CLASS AGAIN
You're assuming there will be big SCH/AST buffs and nothing for WHM.
If SE had implemented some of the more questionable suggestions for 5.05 I might have agreed with you. However, SE's changes suggest they're trying to keep the healer's identities intact, for once. Also if AST needs further tuning it will probably be smaller changes than this patch.
So, look. After the last few years I can understand a lot of pessimism, but right now the evidence doesn't support it.
Funniest thing I've read all day. Thanks OP.
Yeah, you’re definitely drunk right now. Do go lay down.
We don’t even know what the potency of Energy Drain will be—if it will remain what it used to be or be less. I highly doubt it will be more. Even still, Aetherflow will still be used for healing. Not all three are going to be dumped on Energy Drain even in the most optimized speedkills.
As it stands, AST is actually still the healer that looks like it will be behind the other two. Once Eden Savage numbers start coming in, we’ll know for sure where it stands, but it was already ~900 rDPS behind WHM in the EX trials and Eden Normal Mode. And the change to Divination is not going to give it ~900 rDPS, just like the re-addition of Energy Drain isn’t suddenly going to bring SCH up to WHM’s rDPS level. I think you’re really overreacting here.

The only thing WHM needed in this patch was to not get nerfed.
All good here.

go more QQ how weak SCH and how OP WHM is come on WHM need more nerfs, dmg too good healing too good HOLY too op ... that what I read on forums there days ...
I don’t recall reading on the forums about bringing WHM down. I know, I am a salty healer reading the forums a lot. Their desire was to have WHM brought up rather than SCH and AST brought down. WHM is well balanced. There are other glowing issues definitely and is the case for all healers, WHM has had their glowing issues longer and SE not really addressing them, but they have no made us equal in dissatisfaction in this respect. We should really kinda be united in that point.
