I only did the first one with the trust as a WHM during the story.
I waited around 45 minutes for a server spot.
Personally: I rather do sth else while queueing and have a smoother run with actual players.
I wonder if there's something taxing their coding on my end then? Because I regularly see them have issues in Holminster, but never in Dohn Mheg... or really any of the other dungeons so far (Rhyne does have trouble with the Alexander Prime lasers from the final boss in Malikah's Well, but no wipe)Trusts are really solid about doing mechanics. I have them in the higher Qitana Ravel levels, and the only mechanic they seem to get confused about so far is the tethers on the second boss of Dohn Mheg. I've never had a single one die to anything other than Thancred cleaving them with the trees in Dohn Mheg.
Dohn Mheg just seems to be a bad time for them.
I've not yet done Mt. Gulg with trusts yet to know if they have any issues there, but the only wipes I've had were because Uriangier died in in that final boss, and its maddening.
I've actually had Urianger die in the way wereotter described once. Odd since Alphinaud and Alisaie don't seem to have that same problem with me. As for Dohn Mheg, my NPC team ALWAYS gets hit by the water pillars of the first boss.
Y'shtola gets dunked 3 times. "Not yet . . . Not like this . . ." Alisaie then joins getting dunked. "Don't be so reckless!," says Y'shtola.
The other mechanic they always get hit by are the purple beams from the Ronkan Mage for the Qitana Ravel. They don't even make an attempt at all no matter how close they are to the rock walls. Alphinaud doesn't seem to mind just saying, "Leave the healing to me!"
Alphinaud a true healer that adjusts.I've actually had Urianger die in the way wereotter described once. Odd since Alphinaud and Alisaie don't seem to have that same problem with me. As for Dohn Mheg, my NPC team ALWAYS gets hit by the water pillars of the first boss.

I've done the whole msq with them, and they have been marvellous for me, slow as they are. I am not a gamer, this is my first MMORPG, and I am veeeeeeery far from being in my twenties (something that most players seem to assume about the rest). I played alone from the start (5 month ago), and I improved a lot, but I am still clumsy when it comes to situational awareness, reaction times etc, plus I need to run a dungeon several times for the mechanics to finally stick in my mind.
Running with Thancred, Ysh'tola and Alphi was wonderful for me, and I didn't have any issues in any of the dungeons...and it was big fun. I wish I could have used them for the msq trials too, but I managed Titania in a smooth run with a second random group after repeated wipes at the dps check with my first DF group (although no one got edgy), and Innocence was fine on my first try. Worst experience though was the very final trial. I had watched a video several times, I told my group that I was new to the fight, and was truly trying my best when we wiped mid run, I am still not sure why. Then one guy started accusing me of running "on purpose" over the healer with my aoe, which made my jaw drop (the on purpose part). I could not tell if I had done that so I apologized. He went on cussing bards and saying he would vote kick me if we wiped again. Everyone else was silent, except one guy that said "leave her alone, I was the one with the mark". The other guy kept arguing till the end, I was very distressed but we didn't wipe and nobody died. Everyone left like lightning and without a word. Except that one guy who stood up for me, replied to my thanks to all and wished me good luck with the rest of the content and even gave me a commendation to make up for the bad time I obviously had. It was a bitter way to finish an expansion that I had simply adored, every minute of it.
I haven't dared to queue for akademia, twinning and even less the Eden raid, though I'd love to try them but... I don't think I am up to what people expect and I don't want to ruin anyone's time, or feel bad for playing a game in which I am not good enough, but that I do love to bits and pieces. Sorry for the long story... But long story short, the trusts made me learn much without stress and drama and I wish they expanded the system to cover everything related to the main scenario from now on. For people like me, it would be wonderful.

I think it's on a character by character basis. The only one I have ever heard of running through the mid on the last boss of Switch is Urianger (despite me never seeing it myself). The only one that ever struggles with tether in Dohn Mheg is Ryne (she will almost always take the tether that you are at no matter what). I've never had Alphinaud or Ryne get hit with the water geysers, seen Thancred only get hit once, but heard reports of Y'shtola and Alisaie getting whacked pretty bad by them.I wonder if there's something taxing their coding on my end then? trust chars are there as a compensation for lack of functionnal real players. not the other way around my friend. never expect a npc to work faster than a real player
First: forgive me if my English is odd as it’s not my native language!
Second: I noticed the difference too, I noticed a little pose between the actions they do!! I watched them do that! killing 3 mobs takes longer time then it should, it became really boring trying to level them up as it takes forever it seems to me, only on boss is a bit faster, healing is ok, maybe tank and melee, but ranged dps takes longer time killing mobs! And the amount of xp they get at the end of each run is relatively low imo, the only thing I like about them is I practice my new actions and dungs with them, then I que with real party and things go way faster, I’m not sure if I will continue trying to level them as they really slow me down.
Why do people say “no offense” right before they’re about to offend you?
so what did their exp boost end up being? anyone know?
He's not very bright in my experience, though. I decided to screw around with Tesleen while tanking in trust by making her fly as far as possible during the attack where she hits all 4 party members once. So when she started marking people, I ran to the other side of the room, then turned around, and saw Alphinaud, who was marked as target 3, standing between me (1) and 2. With half health. And not bothering to heal. I just shrugged and thought, "Your funeral, buddy".
On that note, Alisae is also a pretty bad RDM. Or perhaps she's a bad sister? I don't know. Either way, she decided to just let Alphinaud eat dirt for the entire fight.
