Uh, that is mathematics, not science, btw. Take a probability and statistics class. You will realize how incorrect you are. In said class, you will have to mathematically calculate how many times said action will be required to complete until you get an item, for arguments sake. So no, it doesn't go "10% = 20% if you do it twice." But it does become higher statistically. This game is the only thing that disagrees with that MATH, not science. They made the percent so low and the calculation for the drop rate so ridiculous that basically your chance to receive something is at a perpetual less than 1% drop rate.

It does. Because the chances of it happening increases when it fails to happen. Pick a straw out of a bag. Does your chance of picking out another straw of the same color increase or decrease? Just because it is a program, doesn't mean it has no limits.
