So no, it doesn't go "10% = 20% if you do it twice." But it does become higher statistically. This game is the only thing that disagrees with that MATH, not science. They made the percent so low and the calculation for the drop rate so ridiculous that basically your chance to receive something is at a perpetual less than 1% drop rate.

But again, you deal with science *derp* not math.
i know it's math, but this is internet and it's meme man.
Also, i *derp* to you: Bernoulli it's on your side, still that count on a infinite amount of try. Do you plan do live indefinitely, and doing ifrit infinitely ?
anyhow this count nothing. I'm for 100% totem drop, or at least 50%
also, bolded phrase it's wrong :||

It does. Because the chances of it happening increases when it fails to happen. Pick a straw out of a bag. Does your chance of picking out another straw of the same color increase or decrease? Just because it is a program, doesn't mean it has no limits.

Ok, now i'm pretty sure you don't know what you saying. The law of big numbers say this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_large_numbers
BUT it also say to not confound this with the augment of probability. Because it don't happens.

In the short term, it shows a slight decrease to increase. L2Graph According to the law, the average of the results obtained from a large number of trials should be close to the expected value, and will tend to become closer as more trials are performed.
