Elidibus is throwing things at the wall to see what sticks, and it happens to be that his favorite thing to throw at the wall is "other people that may possibly correct the mistake for me, including Zenos." A way to mitigate how repeaty this is would be to have him actively participate in the story in some manner instead of just hanging out on the moon and teleporting in to drop mysterious one-liners especially since we really don't know much about him. Him fighting to keep the plan on-course and perhaps interacting directly with us would make things pretty interesting.
Elidibus is the last unbroken Ascian, which means it's the end of the organization if he dies. Considering the WoL + Scions have now managed to kill 3 Paragons, one being as powerful as Hades was, him taking the field at this point would be the stupidest move he could make.

I don't mean actually fighting, I mean constantly and consistently interacting with the people he's going to be siccing on the WoL to keep up the front in the face of everything that says "no, WoL/D is a good person" instead of just pointing, saying "hey that person needs to be dead" and leaving to watch from afar. Changing up his usual MO of casually waiting (especially since he's frantically trying to make things work) would be a nice shake-up. His talent has always been manipulation and scheming and it'd be nice to see it in action and in detail, we all saw him get kicked halfway across the battlefield the last time he tried to actually fight and I don't think he'd attempt to do so again all things considered.

If there's something high I will definitely fall off of it
