... I can already see the thread of people complaining about how people queuing for that roulette don't know how the fights go and how they need to stay out of it so they can get their xp/drop bonus quickly and efficiently.

WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
I'm not against of having EX Trials roulette, but tend to agree with this:
I already hear this outrage from people who wants to see in their roulettes only perfect players and isn't ready to have several wipes (which you will have in extreme content with randoms, believe me). Also, people will probably just ignore this roulette same as they ignore Mentor now.
I mean if this roulette were implemented there woukd absolutely be the expectation that you know at least the basics of the fight. Its an EX trial not a 24-man
Well considering roulettes require to have cleared the content before unlocking... That wouldn't be an absurd complaint.
That's only really true for EX roulette (and will probably be true for 80 roulette when that comes), MSQ roulette, and Mentor roulette, though I may have missed one. For the others - leveling, 50/60/70, trials, alliance raids, normal raids, etc. - you can unlock content in the roulette and never complete it, yet still get loaded into it for the first time via the aforementioned roulettes. They could implement a similar lock to EX roulette for it, but it still wouldn't prevent people from getting carried through the content via unsyncing and not actually learning how to do them.
