Yes, with all these other things on their plate, I think they'll get pissed and they'll just slap a(slightly) modified Miqote head on a Miqote body and say "Here's your male Viera" and for female Hrothgar, put a modified femroe face on a femroe body. I'd be okay with that, but I'm sure others wouldn't be.

I wouldnt mind male roegadyn base personally ,but makes absolutely 0 sense from resource prespective. Theyll just be texture modded femroes, and male viera will likely be male miqote with taller option, female viera animations combined with some male miqote ones and slightly edited to make me look somewhat different, and rabbit ears with probs some scaleless male au ra faces. Tbh, I doubt they're even going to change anything from the body so they wotn have to refit gear, and my jaw would drop if they could have more than racial hairstyles and could wear headgear (meaning no gear resizing a.k.a, it comes down to making a frankenstine a le mod style, editign a few textures, making a couple hairstyles, making a racial gear, which I think will be extremely close to their other sex counterpart to save on resources, animating and calling it a day). Its basically what they did with female viera, they are female miqote with edited faces and rabbit ears

It probably helps that the Ronso females do look a bit similar to femroes as it is. As for Viera, I'd expect a re-tooled Elezen, maybe hybridised with some other model like Miqo'te.

It will just be male miqote, females have the exact identical same body as females, so Im almost 100% positive ti will be that. MAYBE male au ra considering that they got the body type that the male viera concept art has. If u ask me, I'd 100% rather have male au ra, but as long as male viera are tall arround 1.90, and dont look like male roes or lalafells, Ill almost 100% likely switch ASAP

Aren't Miqo's just using an edited hyur body though? I can see it being either elezen or au'ra, I'd play an Au'ra if the waist wasn't so thin and they didn't have the bay watch run. I swear Au'ra males aren't actually running, what they're doing is forcing the entire world to move around them. So much strength in those strides. lmao

Au Ra look obnoxious when they run around. Stomping around everywhere like they are trying to knock everything around them over.

that's my challenge everyday. It's very hard to found some gear who cover my character boobs and femininity. But I had some luck with the Makai PvP gears.
My ultimate challenge is to make some beach look. My guild has glamour competitions, and many times they includes "beach glamour" in the themes to be presented

Hey little late reply, read this comment yesterday but wasn't logged in and didn't feel like logging in (was sleepy reading).

Suddenly remembered the beach look comment. I'd suggest for at least a summer outfit that one could wear at the beach:
Top: Extreme Survival Shirt ~ Well one may get a bit of a ... eh .. little moob problem? So you may not want this? But I like that it is a basic t-shirt
Legs: Artisian Culottes ~ They are lovely at a beach. They make for a nice length shorts. They are nicely dyeable in my opinion. Yeah you keep a bit of a yellow sash with that, but yellow is very much a summer colour and some fashonable men and pirates like the stuff.
Feet: Summer Sandals ~ Nice comfy basic sandals, good for anyone on a beach day.

You could go for other more fitting options, but these are the ones I like the most at the moment. As for other slots, play around see what you like.
As for accessories I personally like the Palladium Bracelet for looking like some knotted tied ropes with a bit of trinket going on and Atrociraptorskin Amulet for having some simple leather wristband look ~bit like with a watch, just the watch is missing. Free to leave it clear on the wrists too. But I just think they don't look odd or bulky. For people who like casual looks.

As for shorts ... I remember my bard had some other shorts ages ago don't remember what they were nor if they were dyeable. But I know that if you don't like the Artisian Culottes there are other options. Partly to be found on the MB or other random corners in the game. I just made my suggestion because any job above 50 can wear them despite being crafter gear in the fist place. So they make good shorts for a summer glam.

I'm failing to understand the hopefulness around this. I'm not one to stand in the way of people voting for what they want, but didn't SE already address this as almost impossible?

IIRC, they stated that the way the system is built and how it interacts with their database it would be impossible to add the additional races else they would need to spend the time and money in order to completely rewrite systems to support this. Money that should be used for main stay content.

I don't believe they ever said it was impossible, but they've refrained from giving definite answers about this situation. The good news is that the question regarding the missing genders is still the highest liked one at 131. People will always want money to be diverted to things they want and not to things they personally don't have interest in, so that part is all a matter of opinion.
