I was expecting patch 1.21 on Jan 6th to lure me in and pay for a sub. I've already been playing patch 1.2 for like three weeks now for free.

Oh come on guys it wouldn't be General Discussion without your daily dose of self entitled "I quit" threads and all that nonsense![]()
Someone cant read roadmaps it looks like 1.21 is set for end of Jan/beginning of Feb, also lets not forget 1.20 was delayed so that will probably affect it a little bit.
Your lure was 1.20 which you cant do yet. lol
I'm not sure where I wrote that I was quitting. I just started playing three weeks ago, everything is still new and exciting to me.
I assure you, I can read just fine. I'm just highlighting what seems to me was a poor business decision.
...oh well?
Really, there's not much that can be done about it at this point. They had to start charging eventually, may as well give people a feww free weeks of 1.20 before they start.
You know, let them experience 2 final seasonal events.
I hope they release 1.21 a few days before renew, that would be bait
MAGIC MUSHY ROOMS
While I'm sure that technically the two seasonal events were part of 1.20, that's not what I was referring to. I agree that the seasonal events should have gone on as planned.
I meant content more along the lines of the Achievement system, Auction house, Moogle BCNM, should have been withheld until Jan 6th. If they were not planning a new content patch to launch with their subscription system.
