WAKFU New SE MMORPG

Last time I played Dofus, it was good and I enjoyed it in my coffee breaks, but then I've seen the gameplay of Wakfu and was wondering why would they do a game which is the same sh*t as another game =D

It's a sequel, happened 1,000 years after the timeline in Dofus, it gotta be similar. And yea, Dofus was VERY grindy (Level cap was like 300+ or so I forgot) so I expect Wakfu to be the same. Also the tradeskill etc. takes a lot of time to cap, so you get even more grind.

I've been playing Wakfu for about a year now. With all the people that complain on here about grinding lol... Wakfu is well.. All DoM/DoW/DoH/DoL @50 and you still havent hit cap on Wakfu. I love the game, its a lot of fun, however... At the end of OB you will have your characters erased, it is an f2p however for premium content like new areas ect you have to p2p. Think it will be about 7 bucks a month if I remember correctly.

Can you link something back that wipe statement up?

I haven't heard of any wipes for the future and its almost unheard of for an OB to do this.

The game is not F2P with cash shop, it's actually P2P because free zone will be limited. P2P will always wipe from OB. On the other hand, F2P with cash shop seems to never gone out of OB, for years.

It's hardly new and not deved by SE, Its a nice little MMO but too grindy for my liking.

I wonder if you guys notice these:

As usual, most of the class names are anagrams or other references to words that have to do with the class's abilities.

Sadida - Adidas, a shoe company fits right into the name Sadida's Shoe, though it has little to do with the class's abilities.
Osamodas - Sado-Maso, a term for people who enjoy using whips recreationally. Again, unrelated to the class's abilities, except for the Whip spell.
Enutrof - Fortune, the connection to the treasure-hunting Enutrof class is obvious.
Sram - Mars, inside developer joke. It refers to the Mars chocolate bar, not to the planet or Roman god of war. (See below)
Xelor - Rolex, a prestigious brand of watch; the Xelor class is known for manipulating time.
Ecaflip - "Pile ou Face", French for "Tails or Heads", respectively. (The French version of the Ecaflip's Heads or Tails spell is also called Pile ou Face)
Eniripsa - Aspirine/Aspirin, a common pain reliever; the Eniripsa class is a healing class.
Iop - Yop, a yogurt drink from Yoplait. Another inside joke from the developers. (See below)
Cra - Arc, french for "Bow".
Feca - café, which means "coffee" in French. Another inside joke. (See below)
Sacrier - Their French name is Sacrieur, which is a combination of "sacrifice" and "crieur", which means "a person that shouts".
Pandawa - Believed to be short for "panda warrior". More likely a poke at the Pandaren Brewmaster character in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and at the continual rumors of Pandaren becoming a playable race in World of Warcraft. Like the Pandawa, the Pandaren are a neutral race who rarely venture away from their isolated island of Pandaria. The name Pandawa is also an anagram of the word used for a Jedi in training, "Padawan" (but whether this is actually related to the class is unclear).

Feca, Iop and Sram are meant to have been the first three classes created, so the developers named them after their favorites among the various snacks they consumed when first creating the game (coffee, yogurt drinks, and chocolate), and the names have nothing to do with the classes themselves.

yeah, those names have been like that for years back in Dofus. I think pandas and the other thing is new. Xelors are awesome
