Do all the new Vieras and Hrothgar just don't care?

I cared about not being able to wear helmets, until I realized I don't actually use helmets that often and use circlet type items way more often which are compatible with Viera. I have wasted a few fantasia switching back and forth though trying to decide if I wanted to stick with old race or switch and stay on Viera. Think I've finally settled on staying as Viera. just need more hair options.

I unfortunately had to make the switch back yesterday. I fell in love with long hair and hats a few months before ShB came out. The fact that I couldn't wear hats and the static hair finally caught up to me. Sure the hair physics in this game aren't great but its kinda awkward playing with long hair that doesn't move in 2019. Decided to make a Viera alt just incase I ever got the itch again. I will miss being tall on my main...

Just wondering why i don't see more discussion or complaints about the no headgear situation for Viera and Hrothgar? Is it of no concern to those who have switched? I changed to Viera knowing i can't wear the old helmets....but even new AF 80 headgear does not work?....I don't see the excuse they gave about retro-fitting applying here and i don't see anyone complaining about it.....are we all just taking it up the bum on this one.....??

I was must say that it did upset me that the new Eden gear don't show up (I think only the tank helmet has a model)

Sad thing is that there are a lot of player characters who have headgear options turned off when they should really have it turned on. Lots of plain jane characters who all have the same face/hair with no "uniqueness" to them.

On the flip side, there are so many immersion-breaking (IMO) people who wear those stupid Namazu/Frog/Pig/Snowman Headgears that look pathetic. I cringe every time I see someone in my roulettes tanking wearing a pig helmet.

I still find myself trying to check how a new hat looks when it drops in dungeons. It's certainly a disappointment, but I know what I signed up for and while I don't want it to come at the cost of other content, I would like them to continue work on adding headgear for the new races. I don't have headgear on a lot of my jobs, but the ones I do feel pretty lacking.

Same here, swapped to an Au'ra today. Viera are amazing and incredibly beautiful but I got tired of using the same bow, circlet, flower, no hat for every outfit.

I never liked any of the headgear available before, even on my fem mi'qote, so I always had it hidden. Now I just don't have to hide it
