This is basically as reasonable as I can say it myself. I ditched AST because it (presently) feels like hot garbage to me so I moved to SCH. SCH feels okay but that doesn't mean I don't have a few gripes about it myself that have been well documented by the community as it is.
Glad you're enjoying yourself. But the content doesn't provide any more healing than the launch of stormblood did. If anything, none of the dungeons are really as hard as Bardam's mettle, and the trials are pretty much the least healing intensive we've ever had.
The impression of added healing is just the regular "everyone is made out of paper" initial expansion release healing. Ex roulette is already pretty faceroll and it'll get even easier as we gear up.
To each their own though. We already knew the changes wouldn't affect a part of the player base that much so it's good that you're enjoying yourself. Do expect changes to healers though as SE have acknowledged the issue apparently.
I'm adapting to the SCH change, but I kind of run into a SCH/SCH situation in Eden DF. I used emergency tactic succor, indo, and recitation relatively one after each other; so I was left with spamming succor during the next two party aoe. Normal succor feels pretty weak in that moment.
